"Alice! Hurry!" Bella grabbed for her sister's hand as they raced across the lawn.

"Bella! My feet hurt!" Alice complined behind her.

"We can't stop running Alice. We have to get as far away as possible. Unless u want the weight of the kingdom on your shoulders in a fortnight we must hurry!" Bella reminided her.

Twins, Isabella Marie and Mary Alice zwaan-, zwaan were to be crowed queens on their eighteenth birthday. Nither one wanted to resposibility at such a young age. They were running from their problems which they knew never to do, but this was unavoidale any other way.

"How far do we have to run?" Alice was finally caught up to Bella's pace.

"Only a few hours. Untill the sky starts to dawn. But we musent spot untill then. Hopefully on our way we will meet somone how can help us."

"Oh." Alice huffed. "I do hope so."

Bella wan't sure how long they had been running. She wasn't sure were they were either. They had desposed of their ruined shoes a few long miles back and were now running on mud caked feet. Bella was thankful they had stolen some of their brother's clothes to dress in. It would have been rather hard to run in a dress. Plus, this way, maybe with the hats, they wouldn't be recognized.

"Bella, look there!" Alice, still running, pointed toward the horizen. A faint village was able to make out from the roze pearl light the early sun was casting.

Smoke was billowing from a few huts and a large brand pit was centered in the cirkel of the housings.

"Let's go." Bella whispered to her sister.

They slowed to a slow stroll, for which Alice was very thankful. Her feet ached something horrifying, her hair was drenched in sweat and her feet were caked with dried mud a grass. She despertly wanted somewhere to bathe and perhaps a new, fresh set of clothing. Maybe even gender appropriate.


Edward had just woken up to the cool morning and the birds chirping joyfully at the first sign on morning. He sighed and threw the cover off his legs, stepping onto the rugged ground. He pulled on his trouseres and buttoned his overhemd, shirt before pulling on his shoes.

Careful not to wake his brother Jasper, he opened the old wooden door and stretched. He walked to the edge of the woods to grabb firewood. He thought about what his mother had mentioned to him last night. He was turning 19 volgende maand and he had yet to fnid a wife. There were very few canidates and then none when u crossed out the village whore Jessica, then there was Tanya, but she was lazy and figured herself a princess. Angela would have been fine if Ben hadn't declared his love for her just yesterday.

He stuck his hands out around the fire, wish that door some miricale the girl of his dreams would run into the quaint little village in which he lived and he would no longer have to worry.

"Excuse me." He turned to the sound of a girls voice and was surprised to see two young men.

"Have u gotten lost?" He asked.

"No." The spoken removed the hat and trendles of brown curls fell out. He was not a he, but a very beautiful she. "My sister and I ran away. We don't want to go back and we would like to know if u had anyroom for a night?"

She had brown eyes that were depthless and her heartshapped face held her flawless features. Her sister removed her hat to revel a short black hair cut that balanced her pericing blue eyes. She was very pretty, but she had nothing on her beautiful sister.

"Of course." He spoke without knowledge. They would have to stay in he and Jaspers room, of at least share. But maybe Jasper wouldn't mind to know that it was for the helping for two ladies. "I'm Edward." He stuck out his hand. "Edward Cullen."

"Bella Swan." Bella placed her hand in his and he brought her knuckles to hips lips. "And this is my twin sister Alice." He did the same with the sister.

Maybe, just maybe, his prayers were answered. of so Edward hoped.
