I followed Alec into the plush reception, barely noticing the cosily placed couches and tall vases of flowers lining the walls.

I am a student, and I have a job, and I volunteer, and this and that. but I love writing these stories, I actually get most of my writing done at work haha.

The thing that burst out from the trees was a creature no human of vampire would have ever seen. It was the size of a leopard with greyish vacht, bont covering its sleek and feline body. Bella's POV

I couldn't believe he left me. He didn't want me. And here I was, on a wild gans chase, chasing after a vampire who I was in love with. But he wasn't in love with me. I had lead my life into a fairytale, and then he ripped it away from me. I knew I should be mad at him. But, he was Edward Cullen. I couldn't understand...

I was uncomfortable.
My neck was lying on the divan, bank at an awkward angle. I could feel Nate’s feet on my lap, and I could hear him snoring quietly. I opened my eyes and saw that my head was facing towards the ground. I must have moved in my sleep. I yawned hugely and rubbed my eyes. They felt weird. Like they were prickling.
I moved Nate’s feet and backward rolled off the couch. I got to my feet unsteadily, trying to regain my balance. I looked out the window. Charlie’s kruiser was gone. It must be later in the morning.
I went into the kitchen, to find some breakfast when the phone rang....
