I found the ending of the book to be incredibly anti-climactic. I was really disappointed, although I understand why it was necessary to not have them have this huge fight and for them to be civil about things. Fighting would just create new problems between the covens and stuff.

Judging by which I enjoyed more, I'd say the movie. Even though it didn't really make sense (if you go by the logic of Alice's power) I thought it was a lot better than the book.
