INTRO:]
I met a girl in east LA
In floral shorts - as sweet as May
She sang in eights in two Barrio chords
We fell in love, but not in court

La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la

Manos-

[POST-CHORUS:]
Ahhhhh America Americano
Ahhhhh America Americano
Ahhhhh America Americano
Ahhhhh America Americano

[VERSE 1:]
Mis canciones son de la revolución [my songs are of the revolution]
Mi corazón me duele por mi generación [my hart-, hart hurts for my generation]

If u love me, we can marry, on the west coast,
On a Wednesday, en un verano, en agosto

And in the silence of the night
Through all the tears
And all the lies
I touch myself and it's alright

Just give in
Don't give up baby
Open up your hart-, hart and your mind to me

Just know when
That glass is empty
That the world is gonna bend

Happy in the club with a bottle of red wine
Stars in our eyes 'cuz we're having a good time

Eh-eh

So happy I could die
Be your best friend
Yeah I'll love u forever
Up in the clouds
We'll be higher than ever...

Sorry I cannot hear you

Sorry I cannot hear u I'm kinda busy

Just a second
It's my favoriete song they're gonna play
And I cannot text u with a drink in my hand, eh?
You should've made some plans with me
You knew that I was free

Silicon, saline, poison inject me
Baby, I'm a free bitch
I'm a free bitch

Some girls won't dance to the beat of the tribe
She won't walk away
But she won't look back
She looks good
But her boyfriend says she's a mess
She's a mess
She's a mess
Now the girl is stressed
She's a mess
She's a mess
She's a mess
She's a mess
(Tellem', girls)

Baby loves to dance in the dark
'Cuz when he's lookin'
She falls apart
Baby loves to dance in the dark (Tellem', girls)

Run run
Her kiss is a vampire grin
The moon lights her way while she's howlin' at him
She looks good
But her boyfriend says she's a tramp
She's a tramp
She's a vamp
But...

Climbing and Abseiling in the Blue Mountains

Adrenaline junkies don’t want to miss the chance to climb and abseil in Australia’s Blue Mountains. Nestled in New South Wales and just a short drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains are not only home pagina to world class climbing and canyoning features, but they also boast some of the most pristine and scenic tropical landscapes in the world.

What does climbing and abseiling involve? Climbing refers to rock climbing, as one might suspect, and abseiling is essentially rappelling down a rock face in a controlled manner. Climbers and abseilers wear a rock...

The Ningaloo rif is Western Australia’s largest, pristine and most accessible Coral Reef. It extends for approximately 260 kilometres from Point Murat on the tip of the North West Cape to Amherst Point, just south of Coral baai, bay making it one of the world’s largest fringing coral reefs.

Unlike the Great Barrier rif and other reefs situated off the north coast of Australia, Ningaloo rif is not separated from the coast, thus making its accessibility one of it's greatest attractions.

In some places, just a few kicks bring u to a rif with its 500 species of vis and 220 species of colourful...

Three days into a trek across the volcanic highlands of southwest Iceland, it occurs to me: This is Tolkien's Middle-earth. With its obsidian lava fields and steaming hot springs, its moss-covered foothills and treeless valleys, Iceland is Mordor one minuut and the Shire the next. It has a magical quality to it, this Land of brand and Ice—as if it has been plucked from the imagination and placed here, somewhere between Europe and North America, to be a playground for the adventurous traveler.

A thousand years ago, Iceland's Viking settlers sent criminals to the island's inhospitable interior,...

There's a populair misconception in American hiking circles that the only "real" mountains in the U.S. are found out west. I've been guilty of it myself, looking to the Sierras and the Rockies for adventure and ignoring—here in my column, anyway—the joys and challenges of the Northeast. That's an oversight I'll put behind me this month.

Peter Potterfield, who writes about New Hampshire's White Mountains in his excellent book, Classic Hikes of the World, says that these peaks have "been the comeuppance of many an arrogant hiker from outside New England." He's right. They've humbled quite a few...

Here in the driest desert on earth, in a rocky valley populated door withered pillars of salt and stone and an enormous sand dune that doubles as a pedestrian highway, I find myself scrambling, hands and feet, up a jagged outcropping ... and waiting for the sun to set on the "Valley of the Moon."

This is Chile's Valle de la Luna, the legendary moon valley, crowned on all sides door volcanic peaks that cascade as far as the eye can see. It's these peaks that grab my attention now. One door one they're painted in the pinks and reds of the setting sun, and the valley becomes a kaleidoscope of new shapes...

Seven miles off the coast of Venezuela, on the tiny Caribbean island of Trinidad, I'm about to come face to face with two dozen swirling, shrieking guardians of the dead. Likened to devils door the ancient Amerindians of South America, these sentinels of the afterlife are actually rare cave-dwelling birds that nest like bats and look like ravens with fiery red eyes. The souls of the departed were zei to dwell in the recesses of their subterranean lair.

I've hiked through a sweltering rainforest to find these devil birds, and I can hear them before I see them. They scream and flutter just out...

"In the forest u must first use your ears, then your eyes," says Harris McDonald, my rainforest guide here on the tiny Caribbean island of Tobago. He silences me with a finger to his mouth. "Listen." I do, and then I hear it: a loud, yawning groan like something straight out of Jurassic Park. I back up a step and stumble over the gnarled roots of the muildier, mule path we've been following for the past hour.

McDonald follows that with a smile roughly the same size as the machete at his side. He's known as the "Jungle Man," and he's been leading casual dag hikers and tourists into Tobago's rainforest—the...
