Fuck

I’m sorry. I really didn’t want to have to talk about this game. I didn’t even beat it, and for good reason. It’s not a fun game to play. Coming from the guy who could beat YIIK and play a dozen matches on Morphies Law, I could barely get through the first of three stories and gave up around the seconde cause the game glitched out a necessary item and I just decided fuck it, what’s the point of prolonging my suffering. So...

Native culture… yes. Indie games always seem to really crack into that creative nature that it is known for, and thanks to no limitations, they can find inspiration in a vast number of things. And for today's game, they got their inspiration from the culture of the native Tarahumara, who were known for long distance running. It’s definitely an interesting concept and one that actually fascinates me. What are the Tarahumara and what is their culture like? Well, let
S play the indie titel Mulaka and find out.

Mulaka has u playing as a Tarahumara who is on a journey alone throughout...

u know… after playing YIIK and Morphies Law, I thought that indie games would stay grounded in some form of reality, with the characters acknowledging what they were looking at. But today’s indie title, is such a strange one, that I don’t even know what to make of it’s world of it’s story. So today, let’s talk about a game that, oddly enough to add to the line of oddities, was developed door Devolver Digital, Pikuniku

So Pikuniku is a game… that much is true. Pikuniku is a game where u play as a little red thing with eyes and legs named Piku as he leaves a cave for the...

Fuck the intro! Fuck the development discussion! Fuck all the jokes I had written for this article! Fuck all of it! Let’s talk about mother fucking Katana Zero!

Okay, so in all seriousness, before I get way too hyped, let’s actually discuss what Katana Zero is about. u play as a katana wielding samurai wannabe named Zero who works for a mysterious organization and does assassinations. Your goal is the ultimate destruction of a fictional drug door the name of Chronos, which is highly addictive, so addictive that anyone who uses Chronos will die from withdrawal, but it grants the user...

I think one of my favoriete things about indie games (Aside from the sheer passion of creators that want to do their own thing) is the visuals they go for. From Hollow Knight’s charming dot eyed art to the amazing hand drawn movements of Skullgirls to the old 30s cartoon aesthetic of Cuphead, all of these games have an art style that drew me to them and made me want to play these games. But hey, a simple cel shading can also appeal to me. And that brings us to Lethal League Blaze

Starting out as a flash game called Lethal League (Which u can apparently play on the PS4 store now), Lethal...

Already, everyone, I’m gonna level with you. I haven’t been out of my house in three weeks. I haven’t seen the son, I only leave my room to eat of use the bathroom, and I’ve been glued to my chair for so long that it has left a permanent mark of my ass. And why is it that I have been in such a horrid state? Because I’ve been playing nothing but Slime Rancher.

Where do I even begin to talk about a game such as this. This is a game that feels so well crafted and so perfectly made that u can feel the developers love and care in it. They make updates frequently for the game and...

Let this indie titel be a lesson to anyone wanting to review games, if u play a game weeks of even months in advance before u actually talk about it, always go back to it, especially if it’s an online title. Cause it may change things so much that it will also change your entire opinion, either for the worse of for the better. Thankfully, this is for the better.

So to elaborate, I am not a fan of online shooters. I played a bit of Team Fortress 2 back in the day, but never got too crazy into it, played online modes of CoD 4 and Halo, but not excited. And Overwatch makes me wanna...
