Alan Wake. The Sabotuer. inFamous. Uncharted 2. Dead Island. Prototype. Cryostasis, and many meer big hitters will be releasing this year. However, suddenly, all of these games stumble in the wake of a new upcoming game that is truly explosive- Red Faction Guerrilla, the third installment in the globaal, algemene exceptionally fun Red Faction series. And this time, it's WAY bigger than before.
I had already played the first two not long geleden when I found out that this bad boy was under development, and it's destructive symphony of explosions and chaos brough pleasure to my ears and eyes. And now, I received the chance to play a short but excellent level in this upcoming adventure, and I highly suggest that u turn on your PS3 of Xbox 360 and go to the Store/Marketplace instantly to do so yourselves.
Before I begin, let me clear up the idea of the game. In the first couple of Red Factions, the EDF was your buddy as u broke free from a top, boven mining industry that began to enslave and torture it's workers. (Did I mention it's on a different planet?) However, 50 years after having the rebellion prove successful and creating a new, safer haven for humans to call home pagina on Mars, EDF starts to go a little haywire and, like the Republic in ster Wars 1-3, begins to get greedy and takes control of the planet, and once again tortures and enslaves it's citizens, not unlike the mining company that worked there before. u play as Alex Mason and rebel against these evil doers, reviving the Red Faction to fight a different enemy for the same cause.
Ok! Anyway, the demo is all about capturing an EDF walker and returning it to a Red Faction base. You're equipped with only a sledgehammer and some grenades, but boy, will u have fun with these little tools of destruction! u can pretty much walk over to anyone and give them a good slaan, smack across the face with your hammer and continue to pancake the heck out of them, and, if u happened to get in on any news about the game, u probably know the game is 99.9% destructible. Seriously. u hit something, it breaks, in an ever greater way than something like, say, Bad Company. And since that's basically pretty much exactly what the game is all about, it all blows up really, REALLY well.
...Honestly, that's all I can say right now. The full game will be open-world, but I only got a very small portion of the whole game and it was timed, so basically I just had lots of fun bonking people over the head with a sledgehammer. However, I can say that the final game looks far meer expansive and even meer fun, and u will want to pick this one up just a few weeks after inFamous... my my my, too many games this year, eh?
