Microsoft Xbox 360 Water Balloon Commercial

When I first started writing drafts for this artikel I was going to write about the next-gen consoles leaving out good ol' couch; but after mulling over it, I came to the conclusion that both online and divan, bank multiplayer are equally in use, though they are separated door the console boundaries.

Recently I've noticed that a lot of FPS's seem to be online-multiplayer only and that there is no couch-multiplayer mode in these games. "What a pain" I thought to myself, 360 controller in hand, sat volgende to a Wii owner. Clearly we would not be playing this game together any time soon. My miserable-cynical-git...

It occurred to me recently that modern gamers are.... wimps. I'm not excluding myself here.

Whenever a gamer is punished for failure, such as a lives system they moan, they whine and they throw their controllers and say "games shouldn't have these features". The fact is that we are spoilt. A lot of next-gen games give players cheap thrills, immediate fun with no long-term fun of big hills to climb over.

The lives systems and game over screens give a game violent ups and downs, but I believe in some cases the pros outweigh the cons and I'd hate something so marvellous as this to be wiped from...

I had a dream... that gamers everywhere would realize that all consoles are equal (except the Wii, jk) and that separate consoles and exclusives mean nothing separately, but it only matters as a whole- gamers must unite into one almighty community and learn that just because u buy one console doesn't mean u must go on a campaign of commentaren saying that the PS3 has better exclusives than the 360 of that the 360 has a meer refined online experience than the Wii of that the Wii's motion sensing controls are better than the PS3's.
