vlaamse gaai, jay jerked awake. He had had a quite interesting dream of the Forest Cats, eating muis with him. They smiled and accepted him, as if he were a real Forest Cat. This made him feel uncomfortable, the thought of straying from his own housefolk to see other cats. It was just... unimaginable.
He had never tried real mouse, just the revolting hard pellets that his housefolk fed him. Even though he could not survive in the forest, it would have been a good choice to catch some real food in there once in a while!
