Elizabeth was returning to England. She and Will were going to pack their belongings and they were going to verplaats to a remote island, where Elizabeth would give birth to twin girls a few months later. After that, the entire family lived happily. Until the dag they lost their boat. The boot was their only way to reach the main island where supplies were sold. The twins both came down with the plague. They both died a maand later. Elizabeth felt that it was her fault that the children had died, and she hung herself the dag after their deaths. Will was the last person on the island, and no one knows what happened, of where the island is to this day...
