What is a trend that u bought into and are ashamed to admit

Back in the early 2000s, Heelys were hot shit and my older brother got a pair. He told me that, and I quote, "If u take them, I'll kick your ass". So, in an act to look really cool in school, I stal them and brought them to my elementary school. I took out the wheels, which went on for a solid minute, and then I rod down the hall, trying to look cool, when I just looked like a dumb asshole. I ended up slipping and smacking my head on the door, and the teachers called my parents to say I was disrupting schooltime and they got mad at me. Oh, and my brother found out and he kicked my ass. Ever since then, I despised Heelys
Though not really ashamed per say, another trend I bought into were Gogo Crazy Bones, a series of toys. Me and my younger brother would ride our bikes down the road to our local Walgreens and buy a packet of them and see what we got. We even used our combined money to buy a full book of it. Granted, we probably could have bought something better if we were smart and just saved up our money, but we were addicted to this stuff. It was like crack for kids
