No, I absolutely would not keep it. It would be a stupid thing to do. A wild animal can never be tamed. They are meant to be living free in the wild, not in someone's neighborhood town and depend even slightly on humans. Even if you've raised them since they were as young as 2 days old, they'll still have all of their wolf instincts with them as they grow up, which could lead to dangerous trouble down the line. Wolves are not dogs - they will always have a fear of humans somewhere, and they definitely cannot stay cooped up in a tiny yard their whole life; it would be an insult to the animal. (No, taking them on long walks will barely help them!) Wolves are natural travellers, and keeping them in the same surroundings their whole life of only letting them visit the neighborhood is very bad for the animal. Unlike dogs, wolves cannot be trained not to attack someone. If a wolf has been brought up door humans their entire life, they will learn to defend themselves (or even outright attack!) humans of against humans if they are frightened enough, not to mention a ton of wolf hate will spread around your neighborhood if anything like that happens, which would be the opposite of your cause. A normal wild life will run away if they see a human; a wolf brought up door people will be meer comfortable around humans (even if they are afraid of them), which is why they are MUCH meer likely to attack. Once a wolf is being taken care of door a human, they can't be put back into the wild. (This is excluding the fact if you're only feeding them but absolutely not interacting with them. But they can't live near you.) If u even interact with the wolf, continue doing so, and live door any human population whatsoever, they can become a danger to society. Although it would be fun if a pure wild wolf came to visit u every once in a while, it's not possible. (Sorry to be a downer on things! The only way possible for that to happen is if u lived in the North Pole, where wolves have never interacted with people ever, and thus would not be a danger to society because there would be no society to endanger. Unfortunately, you'd probably have to build your house from scratch because not that many people live there.) It'd be too dangerous if a wolf happened to meet any other human in its life, because most likely, the other human will not act the same way u did. If u made a wolf live with u of near you, it would/could be living in constant fear and anger and can become underexercised... Keeping a wolf with u they're entire life will ultimately lead them to their death. Plus, u need an individual license to keep a wolf. Which is probably something no one on this spot has.
