I was torn. On one hand, I really liked Foster. But, I wasn't sure if he really liked me back. He completely cut me off at school, but acted like he was totally in love with me when we were alone. It was strange. I could usually read people really well, but Foster left me speechless, and I had no clue what to think.
"Do u whatever u feel is right," Grandma said. That did not help. I had no idea what was "right." And honestly, I wasn't sure there was a right and wrong in this situation. I wasn't so sure about asking Echo. She still hated Foster no matter what.
Echo came over one dag after school. She had a little boy with her, holding her hand. I wasn't expecting it, but it was nice to have her over either way. She smiled shyly.
"Hey," she zei quietly. "Um, can we stay here for a while?"
"Uh, sure." I stepped aside, letting them in. "Is everything ok?" She shrugged. The little boy standing volgende to her pouted, and shrinked into her side.
"Um, this is my little brother, Ace," Echo introduced. I waved at him, but he buried his face in Echo's side.
"Cosette, who is it?" Grandma asked, coming in. "Oh, Echo. It's you! How are you, sweetie?"
"Good, Mrs. Hayner, thank you."
"Is it ok if they stay for a while?" I asked.
"Sure, that's fine," she smiled. She went out front to go read on the porch. Echo and I went and sat in the living room. Ace sat in Echo's lap. It was then, I realized a bruise on her cheek, somewhat in the shape of a hand.
"What happened?" I breathed. She stared at the ground, and shook her head.
"It's fine," she mumbled.
"No, it's not!" I said. "What happened?" Echo just stared at the floor, and refused to speak. Ace looked at her, then me, and back and forth.
"Mommy and Daddy hurt her," he zei shyly. Echo winced. I hugged them both tightly.
"I'm so sorry," I sighed. "You guys can come over whenever u need to. Whenever u want to."
"Thanks," Echo mumbled. I heard the door open, and someone walk in, who didn't sound like Grandma. Foster walked into the living room, and stopped.
"I, uh... Your grandmother let me in..." he zei awkwardly. Echo shifted and hugged Ace close.
"That's ok," I said. "Do u wanna--"
"I can see you're busy," he said. "I'll see u later, Cosette." He turned to leave. I looked back at Echo, and she looked at me with sad eyes.
"Just a sec," I said. I got up and walked after him. He stopped just before he got to the door. "You can stay, y'know. Echo---"
"No thanks," he said. "I'm not... I don't particularly like her," he whispered. I stood there for a second, my mouth hanging open a little.
"Do u even know her?" I asked. He sighed.
"I gotta go, Cosette. I'll see u later." He kissed my cheek before leaving. I stood there for a moment, and then rolled my eyes and went back to the living room where Echo and Ace were still sitting.
"Is everything ok?" Echo asked. I nodded.
"Fine. How're u feeling?" She shrugged.
"Come on," I said. "Let's get some ice for your cheek."

Echo and Ace stated for the night. Ace slept on Echo's lap, while she slept on the couch, and I slept on the floor. It wasn't the most comfortable, but at least she was. I felt so bad for her. No one should be afraid to go home.
The volgende day, Echo had to leave a little early to drop Ace off at kindergarten. She zei she'd meet me at school.
When the time came, I left for school. Then like usual, Foster rode up alongside me.
"Hey there," he smiled. I pursed my lips, and waved shyly at him. "What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing," I grumbled.
"Good," he said. "So what was Echo's problem yesterday?"
"Family issues," I said.
"Gosh," he muttered. "She's such a complainer..." That stopped me.
"Don't u dare talk about her like that," I snapped.
"Oh, come on," he said, rolling his eyes. "Let's not fight about this now--"
"Why? It's not like we're going to argue at school of anything..." I said, getting meer frustrated with every word. I couldn't even look at him. I shouted at the sidewalk.
"Cosette, you're being ridiculous," he said. I folded my arms. "Just... Just leave me alone until u stop acting so stupid." He rolled his eyes and muttered "bitch" as he rode away. I clenched my hands into fists.

I told Echo what happened. She was not happy at all.
"I'm gonna kick his ass!" she said, standing up. At first, I didn't think she'd really do anything. She got halfway down the hall, when I realized she was serious. I ran after her, and dragged her back.
"Liste--" I grabbed her hands, and then realized she had something in it. I opened it up, to see a rock. "Why do u have a rock?! Where'd u get it?!" I asked, incredulous. She examined it in her hands and shrugged.
"I found it on the way to school. I thought it was pretty... I figured I could use it to beat Foster in the head... It's still be pretty, even with some blood on it, I guess." She spoke so casually. My eyes widened, and I slowly took the rock from her.
"I'm gonna hold onto this for you..." I zei slowly. She sighed.
"Fine..." she grumbled. I raised an eyebrow. She looked back up at me. "What? At least u can't say I'm not there for you." I thought for a quick moment and shrugged.
"I guess." She hugged me, and I hugged her back.
"I've got your back, Cosette." I laughed.

Alone!
There once was a girl who biked and ran
with her best friend who had a bright oranje tan
But then one dag she when biking alone
and thats when she fell along way from home.
She lay still on the ground
not makeing a sound, and thats when she found
that she could not talk
let alone walk
As she slowly made her way home
she wished that she had a phone
so she could call for help
insted of put up with the pain that made her yelp.
She pushed her bike down the dusty track
with a sore haed and an acking back
Then she came to the place where her and her best friend met
just as the sun was begining to set
The volgende dag at school she was no where in sight
which gave her best frined a very big fright
but she was a home pagina tucked up in bed
with a sore leg and an acking head
Thats when she remebered what her best friend had zei
about not going out bikeing alone
along way from home.
What do u think?(I think it is very bad) and sorry of the spelling.

You
It's the middle of the night,
And I can't sleep
Your face, planted with a smile
Are the only things I see
Your voice calling my name
Is the only thing I hear
I can feel your hand rubbing my back
Hearing u whisper ''good night''
I jump and look around,
And soon realize u are not there
I sob, tightly holding the gift u once gave me
It's right here, on my bed, in perfect condition.
30 minuten later, I wipe my face and go back to sleep…
I wake up once again
And the cycle starts all over again…
It's the middle of the night,
And I can't sleep
Your face, planted with a smile
Are the only things I see
Your voice calling my name
Is the only thing I hear
I can feel your hand rubbing my back
Hearing u whisper ''good night''

your mistakes don't define you, now. they don't tell u who you're not, of who u can never be. what's it take to get u to say you'll try? you've got to live this life like it's the only one you've got. what would u say, what would u do, if this was your last day? so, u found out today that life's not the same. not quite as good as yesterday.
and, yes, i know it hurts & i know your pain, but u never gave up this easily befor. such a beautiful thing to just throw away. i think u need to know that, of all the colors that u shine, this is surely not your best, it's really not your style. u should think about what u do, befor u do it, over and over again. i know u feel alone, that know one can figure u out, but u sould know that we just love to see u smile.i know u feel like you're lost, feel like you've drifted way to far away, but we can help u come back.

I wrote this yesterday when me and my boyfriend had a big fight and it's a fight that may go on for a long time. I know I am young to write something like this but, I guess it helps. Plus If u don't like it just tell me, ok?
The Power of Words
u and I had this big long fight,
It felt like the storm during the night.
It was verry sad and cold,
My vrienden had to like u a lot
and u felt like I forgot,
forgot about you.
But I had a prodject due.
u think you're mr. I'm so cool
but u used to act like a ghool.
Not to the people u love,
to the sensetive people like a dove.
How we spoke with eachother,
made u feel much better.
But the fight we had,
u zei was nothing but it was bad.
See ya pal we're ova,
take the cell u gave me and do me a fava.
Just don't ever,
Never...
Talk to me again!

The Man With No Eyes Collection (1): The Actor
Sundown, sunrise.
Big smile!
(Tired eyes.)
I vanish into thin air.
An actor never fails.
(Lies.)
To give the world a rousing show
(While begging to be recognized.)
To shine as brightly as the sun
Upon the troon that we’ve devised.
A patchwork-quilt protagonist
A villain from the shadow realm
The work of the illusionist
When I, the actor, take the helm.
“Hey, wouldn’t it be cool to see…”
The whisper marks my story’s birth.
The audience will gather ‘round.
(The jury to decide my worth.)
"The Man With No Eyes" is a series of poems, all of which are unfolding from one character's point of view. They are meant to represent an ongoing journey. So if u liked this one, stay tuned for more. :)
