The Story is Unusual

Unlike many Fantasy TV series, the story-line is very unusual and it is no wonder that the series gained popularity for its brilliant writing. It was a spin-off from the Hercules series, from which I didn't know at that time.

The Characters

One thing about the characters, especially Xena and Gabriel's relationship is very complex. Some zei they are friends, others zei that they are Lesbians. It doesn't really make much of a difference to me! But...
