Gambit entered as if on queue. I glared at him.
“Kurt, get us out of here” Wanda zei frantically
“I can’t take u all” he said
“You take one half, I’ll take the other” Kitty said
“Wunderbar” he nodded
‘Half of you, hold on to me, the other grab onto Shadow Kat’ Kurt thought through Jean’s mental link.
‘Got it’ Wolverine nodded
‘Laurna put up a wall. Iceman, u reinforce it’ Wanda ordered. The metal floor formed into a barrier and Iceman shot a tall uithangbord of ice to prevent Magneto from morphing it. Everyone spleet, split up and went to one the people. I grabbed Kurt’s tail just as he teleported away. We finally arrived outside the tower. I looked down at my dress. It was ruffled and dirty. I sighed.
“Wanda, how far are we from our rooms?” I asked
“Not far. About one teleport” she said, looking hopefully at Kurt.
“Got it” he nodded
“Everyone, hide and we’ll meet u back here when we’re prepared for battle. Alert all the mutants u see” Wanda ordered. Everyone nodded and Kurt teleported us to our rooms. We quickly changed and I grabbed my weapons. Kurt teleported us back once we were ready. I took out my contacts and my eyes glowed red.
“Okay, we’ll spleet, split into two teams. It’ll be a divide and conquer job. Me, Laurna, Scarlet Witch, Rogue, Night Crawler, Iceman, Robin, Aqualad, Miss Martian and Super Boy will go after Blob, Magneto and Gambit. The rest of u go after Quicksilver, Domino and Toad” I ordered. Everyone stared at me.
“I’ve been trained to take command. Don’t expect me not to” I said. There was a quiet murmur before Wally spoke up.
“How are we supposed to divide them?” he asked
“Easy. We find them, make distractions specific to their powers and draw them away from one another” I said
“And how do u plan we do that?” Wally asked. I groaned.
“How about this: u guys set up in different locations in different parts of the city while I draw the Brother kap towards you” I suggested
“Good idea” Wally nodded
‘Or I could just get u out of the way so I can take them down myself’ I thought grimly. The group spleet, split up across the city. I walked to the main square. The Brother kap was standing there.
“It’s over” I said, making myself seen. They all looked at me.
“You’re right, Gambette. It is” Magneto said. A strip of metal wrapped around me. I felt my hair writher free. It extended long enough and punched Magneto out.
“You’re days pushing me around are done. Now, it’s time I pushed back”
