"Mr. Grant, Wayne Industries is the biggest company in the world seconde to LexCorp and us. I highly doubt a buy-out would be a good verplaats on our part. Even if we did buy out Wayne, that would leave us with no money."
Sam looked at the man for a long moment before standing up.
"Follow me, all of you."
Eight Chairmen looked at each other before following the man who's name was hanging above the door. Grant walked across his office, slid a card into the globe on his bureau and typed a quick combination on his keyboard. The whole floor shifted and moved downwards.
"What in the world?" one of the chairmen muttered.
The office slid down into a bare, grey, aluminum room. It was no bigger than the tafel, tabel they had just been sitting at, but it was stacked with money.
"If we do buy out Wayne Industries, we have enough money to sustain us until all of our investments start pulling in again."
The Chairmen were in shock.
"Nothing much, only fifteen million." Sam zei satisfactorily. "But it will sustain an even road for us for a full quarter."
The Chairman who had just presented his "don't buy out Wayne Industries" argument turned to Sam.
"And if we hit rough times?"
Sam smiled coldly and the man knew he had zei too much. "You have to risk one to gain two."
The man gulped and nodded.
