"Figured you needed a ride home."

When I woke up, I was in my room on Mount Justice, tucked up in bed.
I sat up and stretched. The sun was pretty low in the sky, which meant it was still pretty early.
I washed up in the shower, and changed into a new set of clothes, noticing I had slept in the clothes I wore the night before.
I looked at the time. I couldn't believe it was volgende week already. I headed for the Training Room, where Aquaman, Red Tornado, Batman, and Nightwing waited for me.
"What're all u guys doing here?" I asked, standing volgende to Aquaman.
"Erica, this is Red Tornado. He'll train u for the element of Air," Batman introduced, ignoring my question.
"We'll be switching out every week," Aquaman added.
"And that just leaves you," I zei to Nightwing.
He shrugged. "Figured u needed a ride home."
Red Tornado glanced at me through his helmet. "Show me Air..."
It was kind of weird, performing the elements with so many men watching me. But I couldn't help thinking of Nightwing the whole time. How did he know the coordinates of Mount Justice?
And why did he care enough to send me back home?
I had a new feeling sprouting from inside of me, but I couldn't pinpoint it.

door the end of the day, I had completed 37 new moves, thanks to Red Tornado. In a way, I liked his training techniques meer than Aquaman's, but I kept that to myself.
As I headed for the door, Batman was back on the computer. "You'll have the night off, Erica. The team will be handling things today."
I nodded. "Thanks, Bats."
I walked back to the lounge, when I realized that I had skipped breakfast and lunch today.
I opened the fridge, but nothing appealed to me.
Guess I'll starve. I unwillingly washed the dishes that were left in the sink, when I heard footsteps behind me.
I spun around. "Well, aren't u a creeper?"
Nightwing was leaning against the counter, smiling. "It's my turn to ask the questions."
I went back to the dishes. "Go on."
He stood volgende to me and grabbed a dishrag. "How can u fly?"
I handed him a plate. "I guess I inherited it from my dad."
"What happened to him?" he asked as he dried the plate.
I looked at my reflection from the soapy water. "My parents divorced when I was 12."
"And?" he seemed interested.
"He died saving us. My mother and I were inside a burning building, and he pushed us outside, making it crush him."
He frowned. "I'm sorry."
We were done door now, but I was still staring at the sink.
"So...you and Tim, huh?"
"Yeah."
Things were getting awkward between us, so I sat on the couch, pretending to watch TV.
"I wasn't done," he zei as he sat volgende to me.
"What do u want?" I snapped.
"I was just going to ask if you'd want to go out for dinner," he admitted.
I felt guilty for being mean to him. When I didn't say anything, he went on.
"You haven't eaten anything today."

I sighed, giving in. "Alright. I just need to get ready."

"Rene, u are going to be late for training," zei Megan. Crap. Quickly, I put on my favoriete outfit; long sleeve purple overhemd, shirt with a black mini rok and yellow leggings, and of course, my long black boots. I ran a comb through her thick red hair, ran to the keuken-, keuken and grabed a pop tart. This will have to do. Can't be late on the first day. The silence was a thick presence in the air, one that was suffocating me. Nic broke it.
"Where have u been?" he asked.
"Around," I said, "I've been trying to keep low since Cadmus."
"Did u get the Weapon?" Alek asked eagerly, "Do u have it with u know?" He looked at my backpack as if he actually expected I was lugging it around. I thought over my words carefully before answering.
"The Weapon is in a secure location," I said. Not a lie, just not the full truth.
"A secure location?" Jasper repeated. I nodded, then noticed the flashing screen of the laptop out of the corner...

Just like yesterday, Becca had been ordered to dress in a too revealing skin-tight dress. But this one was a dark purple, so dark it was almost black. And she wasn't allowed to wear her boots. She moved to push him away, but Salva pinned her hands down with one hand. He had put a leg in between hers and Becca wanted to fight back. Robin's cell phone rang and he answered it.

"On my way." the Boy Wonder said, stepping into the zeta tube and hanging up on the Dark Knight.

Wally pressed his ring and his suit ejected. He quickly joined Robin in the zeta-tube.

"Recognized, Robin. B-01. Kid Flash. B-03."

A moment later the two were in the downtown area and Wally swore Robin transported to the spot where Barbara was on the ground.

Barbara's mask was off, and at the site of the scarlet speedster, she moved to put it back on.

Waking up door being thrown in a cage with my hands tied up wasn’t exactly the ideal way for me to wake up. I was laying on my side on the cold cage floor, and eventually squirmed my way up to leaning on the side of the age, sitting down. The room was dimly lit, but it was pretty easy to make out certain objects. In front of me there was a surgical table, a control board, and 7 different containment units. To my right were 2 other empty cages, and to my left was another cage. I screamed at the sight of what was in it, but then calmed down and sighed when I realized it was just Roy, still unconscious....
