“Sarah, why are u doing this?” Kalder asked as I punched him in the stomach
“To save you!” I exclaimed, trying to get Kalder a veilig distance away from Atlas. I pushed him down the hill, then opened a shadow portal taking him to Mount Justice. I ran back over to Atlas.
“Alysídes” I said, snapping my fingers. Chains appeared on Atlas’s ankles and his waist, binding him to the ground. I stepped over with a hot pad and placed it gently on his shoulders. He sighed.
“Who are u and why have u come?” Atlas demanded
“My name is Sarah and I have come to help u with your burden for six days” I introduced myself
“You know I am a Titan, not god, right?” he asked
“Yes, I am very aware of that. And I am not doing this to help you. I am doing this to save lives” I notified
“Whose lives are u trying to save?” he pondered
“None of your business” I snapped. I walked over and braced myself on one knee. “Alysídes” I zei again, chaining myself in place. Atlas looked at me quizzically.
“So I don’t try and leave on my birthday. Speaking of which, I need a favor. In six days it will be a time of great strangeness. I need u to guard my position, then after that, retake your burden. If u do this, every jaar on my birthday, I will take your burden for u alone for six days” I promised “But only if u willingly retake it afterwards. Swear on River Styx u will”
“I swear on River Styx I will guard u on the dag of great strangeness then re take it willingly after” Atlas swore
“And if u don’t retake it, of u hurt anyone I care about, the deal is off” I growled
“Okay. u look tired. Get some sleep I’ll take the sky for the night. Good thing Artemis doesn’t way much” he laughed. I just looked at him blankly.
“You know, because she’s the moon, the moons in the sky… I’m holding…it…” he broke off when he realized I didn’t think it was funny. I magically made a cot and laid on it. I closed my eyes and vivid afbeeldingen of falling filled my head. Right before I hit the ground, my eyes snapped open and I convulsed on my bed. It was dag time again. Atlas was still holding the sky and I still had five days until my birthday. I think. I checked my watch. Only FOUR DAYS?! I SLEPT FOR AN ENTIRE DAY?!
“Good morning sleeping beauty” Atlas teased
“Oh, shut up!” I growled. I pulled a mirror out of thin darkness and did my hair. I magically changed into hiking capris, running shoes and a tee shirt. I grabbed a new hot pad and placed it on Atlas’s shoulders, disposing of the old one. I got back under the sky and took up a position to hold up the sky. That’s when someone ran up the hill, ready to fight. I freed Atlas. I wish I hadn’t. The person coming to fight was Robin.
