“What?! How do u know Cheshire?!” Artemis exclaimed.
Adam smirked.
“Sorry. I didn't know she was your sworn enemy.”
Artemis blushed.
“She isn't-I mean that's not-why would you-oh!”
Adam smiled as Artemis tried to express her surprise. Willow tilted her head, a smile on her face.
“We've been keeping tabs on her ever since she showed up,” Adam answered.
“We?”
“Yes.”
Artemis furrowed her brows, feeling a little happy that he didn't elaborate. He took Artemis' hand and pulled her in a different direction. Adam offered his other hand to Willow and she took it, a hint of a smile on her face. Adam led the two girls towards the buisness district and opened the door of a two story complex. The door led them to a huge lobby that was furnished and welcoming. There was a girl behind an extravagant desk. She seemed to be at least sixteen, her white hair falling down her back in curls. Her eyes were brown almost rust color. She looked up, a smile on her roze lips.
“Adam! You're back!”
She stood, leaning over the desk.
“Yes. I brought some guests.”
The girl looked over, examining the two girls in her lobby.
“Willow, Artemis, meet Talon. She is the brains of the operations.”
“Stop! You're such a flirt!” the girl exclaimed, her smile giving way to the joy inside.
“Come this way ladies. u have a few meer people to meet.”
Adam took Artemis' hand again and looked at Willow. She was smiling knowingly, taking the hand he offered her. He guided them down a few hallways, a few doors occasionally open. He opened a huge door, ushering them in before entering and closing the door behind him. In the room were four young people. Two girls and two guys.
The guys looked like they could be related. One had brown hair and blue eyes while the other had gray hair and goud eyes. They looked to be seventeen of eighteen. The girls looked completely different from each other. One had blonde hair and blue eyes. The other had dark skin, short black hair, and brown eyes. They were fifteen and seventeen.
“Artemis, Willow, These are some of my friends.”
Willow looked them over, her mind feeling a little frazzled.
“This is Terance, Falcon, Eve, and Seria.”
Terance, the guy with brown hair, smiled warmly.
“Always good to meet Adam's friends,” he said.
Eve, the girl with blonde hair, nodded, her smile matching his.
“Terance is right. We love to meet new people. A friend of Adam's is a friend of mine.”
Artemis smiled, feeling that she liked them a lot better than Talon.
“These four are the others. Terance is the leader, Eve is the nurse, valk, falcon is the defense, and Seria is the technician. I'm just the messenger.”
“Adam! u know how much we respect you!” Eve exclaimed.
Adam laughed warmly and hugged Eve.
“I'm joking, Eve. I know how important I am.”
Eve rolled her eyes and Adam winked at the other two girls.
“Let me get this straight,” Artemis began. “You're a buisness, u own this place, and your how old?”
valk, falcon smiled.
“Seems like the archer hasn't learned her trade,” he commented.
“Falcon! Apologize!”
“Eve, u aren't my boss. I'm my own boss. Besides, the little lady is a little wet behind the ears.”
“I'm what?” Artemis asked.
“He thinks you're inexperienced,” Adam explained. “But he's just a stuck-up, insecure guy. He really means no harm.”
“Why are they here?” Seria asked.
“Oh! They want to know where Cheshire is.”
Adam smirked.

This was her chance. Sydney jumped up and swung her arms under her legs so that her hands were in front of her. Quickly she swung around, hitting the guard behind her and knocking him out. Ty noticed, and lunged at her. She quickly dodged, grabbing the key for her handcuffs off the guard with the few seconden that she had earned. Before she could unlock them though, Ty was able to get back up and start kicking at her. Sydney dodged almost all, except one that sharply entered her stomach. Stumbling over, Sydney dropped the key, “Crap.” She calmly mumbled. Ty threw a stempel, punch at her; she ducked and rolled under him. She grabbed the key and quickly unlocked her cuffs. Sydney sent a stempel, punch toward Ty, who smartly dogged it and sent on back in return.
