Court led the group down several halls and through several rooms. She had transformed into a large mountain lion and had constant telepathy conversations with Talia. Court let out a low growl, scratching at a wall.
“Court says it's a secret door,” Talia said.
“Then let's open it!” Willow exclaimed.
“How?”
Court let out another growl before digging her paws in the dirt.
“Court says she can dig a way in for us. I'm going to density shift through it and see if I can open it.”
Court let out a sudden growl and looked at Robin.
“Yes. Robin already disabled all alarms, cameras, motion sensors, everything.”
Court nodded before Talia phased through. A seconde later, the uithangbord opened. They ran through it and entered another set of hallways. Court put her nose to the ground and sniffed. She soon had the teams chasing her throughout the building. They found her growling at man she had cornered. The room was dark but it didn't take long to find a light.
“Anton Devette!”
“So I see you've found me.”
“Where's Becca?!”
“Silly bird. As if I'd tell you!”
“Robin, his computer is over there,” Willow said. “Hack it.”
“I wouldn't if I were you.”
Robin hesitated and looked at Becca's father.
“Why not?”
“Because it's been enchanted. Only a true witch of wizard of the Dark arts can touch it. One touch and u die...On seconde thought, touch it.”
“Why did u take Becca?” Talia asked.
“She's my daughter. I can take her no matter what.”
“I thought she killed you.”
“She did. But I was brought back.”
“Not for long.”
“You can't touch me. I'm a spirit.”
“Then why cower in front of a lion?”
Anton froze and looked over at Talia.
“You are a clever martian. Even though you're a white one. But I bet that's the only reason people friend you. Because u are smart.”
“Stop! I love Talia!” Megan exclaimed.
She went up to the martian, hugging her.
“Talia is sweet and caring! She has a hart-, hart of gold! And I wouldn't ever want a different sister. She's mine and I love her!”
Talia hugged Megan, hiding the tears of relief in the Martian's hair. The two pulled away before turning to Anton.
“We may not be able to hurt you, but we can read your mind.”
Both Megan and Talia used their telepathy on Anton and Megan suddenly pulled back.
“I know where Becca is!”
