On Monday 6th October 2008 at the 19th Q Magazine Awards, held at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, Adam Ant was presented with the 2008 icoon Award.

The awards ceremony has been held door the respected UK magazine since 1990 where the icoon Award has been gegeven as a special recognition to artists, where some of the vorige winners have included Jimmy Page, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney

Adam was accompanied to the Awards ceremony door his partner Clare and Morrissey guitarist and former writing partner, Boz Boorer .
