Season 2 finally answered the question of what Skye would become. While they haven’t exactly said the words yet, it would seem that Skye underwent terrigenesis and became an Inhuman.
But Skye wasn’t the only one. “The Girl in the Flower Dress,” Raina, was also encased in a cocoon, but we only got a brief glimpse at her final transformation. The
showrunners have hinted that Raina’s transformation will be more physical than Skye’s, and will reflect her controlling, manipulative nature.
So what might Raina become? Here are five possibilities:
Some fans have pointed out that a character named Raina already exists in the Marvel Comics universe. That Raina is one of Hauk’ka, mutant Saurians who live in the Savage Land. As one of her people’s mutants, Raina possesses superhuman strength, speed, and sharp teeth and claws.
Considering how minor a character Raina is, and how the name is no entirely uncommon, we’re willing to imagine that the two characters having the same name is coincidence. There’s also the fact that Raina’s first appearance was in an X-Men comic, which may bring up film rights issues with Fox.
However, if the showrunners really want to drastically alter Raina’s physical appearance, turning her into a dinosaur person is certainly one way to do it.
comic book has already been introduced into, with the theory that the character in the final scene of “What They Become” is actually Reader. Perhaps he’s not the only one.
No much is known about Naja yet, as she’s only appeared in five comics so far. She’s one of the Inhumans whose powers were triggered by the Terrigen Bomb, and she’s still learning the full extent of her abilities, which so far include flight, claws, invisibility, and enhanced senses.
Her physical form was also greatly altered by the change, so perhaps this is a sign of what’s to come for Raina as well.
When we talk about Gorgon here, we’re specifically thinking of the Ultimate Marvel Universe version of the characters. Not only is that Gorgon a female, but she also possesses mind control abilities, which is a nice parallel to the aspects of Raina’s nature that the showrunners seem to be keying off of. Additionally, both Gorgons have unusual physical forms, and the Ultimate Gorgon’s status as the most dangerous woman in the world could set Raina up as a truly challenging adversary for the rest of the season, if that’s who she becomes.
The problem here is that Gorgon is a member of the Inhuman royal family, and we’ve been working under the assumption that they were unlikely to be seen before the
movie in 2018. That’s just a theory though.
showrunners wanted to go full irony, they could turn her into one of the Alpha Primitives, a worker race subclass of Inhuman society. For Raina to have travelled so far, for so long in search of her destiny, only to find out that it was to become a hulking laborer in someone else’s society would be a pretty harsh twist of fate.
Another fan favorite theory seems to be that Raina will become b-list feline Avenger Tigra. The theory mostly seems to be based off of the feline look of Raina’s eye, which is the only part of her we got to see in the midseason finale.
Yes, the eye looks feline, but what fans think are stripes look more like spines to us. Tigra isn’t out of the question, but to have Raina become here would certainly be an out-of-left-field kind of decision.

All excellent possibilities! I cannot wait to see who she\'s revealed as.
However, one small point of contention in regards to, "While they haven’t exactly said the words yet, it would seem that Skye underwent terrigenesis and became an Inhuman."
Technically, that\'s not accurate. The showrunners explicitly confirmed the Inhumans in this interview.
I\'m pretty sure he means That they havn\'t called anything an Inhuman in the Show.
Coulsons will most likly just be finging out about this or it adds onto info that Fury already knew. Too bad MArch is so far away. :(
There was a birdlike Inhuman named Fiona whose story they might use for Raina. Maybe the quills coming out of her are feathers and she\'ll gain the ability of flight. Would be a cool look for her plus cheap and easy special effects for the show. All just guessing from me but I think it would be a nice addition to Raina\'s character.
Well, we know Skye is actually the Inhuman called Quake now, so while they haven\'t stated the word "Inhuman" in the show yet, it is established who she is, Daisy Johnson. I\'m willing to bet that Raina isn\'t any of these above characters. I\'m thinking the showrunners probably wanted to introduce one comics established character, but another character who has never appeared in the comics before. Raina would be the first original Inhuman character for the show, probably the first of many. Not all adversaries on AoS should be established and known from the comics, throw in a few new characters to keep us on our toes.
Why not? that would be better than those other lame characters..
what about I the rock in cases you and you beak out a certain time as a inhuman
She coul be tigra. The spikes could be whiskers. Not saying tigra has whiskers in the comics but they could add it for the show
There is a female mutant named Quill who has the ability to throw, well, quills. I know Fox owns the rights to the term "mutant" in relation to Marvel, so maybe Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will base Raina\'s power set off this character without necessarily calling her a mutant. Marvel seems to be alluding to Inhumans so they could easily label Raina as one later on.
Tigra would be nice, but the spikes are near her eyes... Don\'t felines have whiskers a bit lower near the mouth?
So my prediction is that she will be an mcu adaption of the inhuman jolen, http://marvel.wikia.com/Jolen_%28Earth-616%29 even though he is a guy I\'m sure they can rewrite his character so that jolen can become jolene... Jolen got his powers through terrigenesis just like raina... Jolen manipulates plants, raina has stated she is naturally drawn to flowers multiple times... Jolen has thorns on his face, alot of people say raina got whiskers or spikes, I\'m pretty sure that she got thorns like a rose ...
