It was Fourth of July. Fireworks, cheering rants, parades, the colors, and of course, The Cutest Hedgie Contest.
The Cutest Hedgie Contest was a ongoing competition between hedgehogs. Each mom would bevestig their daughter into the pageant, and back them wear their cutest outfit according to the season. Many little girls have tried, but none succeeded. Only Victoria The Cat won, which was every year. She had the looks, personality, and the outfits. Her mom, Blaze the Cat, always prepare the best outfit coordination for her. She was dressed to impress. But Amy Rose was determined to win, but she had not one child.
" I wish I were a girl. A little one. Then I could rub that golden trophy in Victoria's little snobby face." Amy zei grudgingly. She was out shopping in the supermarkt preparing for her Fourth of July dinner. She was out looking for little girls to scout for the pageant. She geplaatst posters all over the city, looking for one cutie with the looks, taste, and personality. She grunted, scanning the shelves for her duif deodorant. Amy picked it up and dropped it clumsily into the cart. She paid for items, then left to head back for her apartment.
On the way, she happened to run into the two lucky parents of Victoria, Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze. "Hello Amy!" zei Blaze cheerfully as she hugged her. Amy was scowling inside but put on a bright smile that could light up the whole town. "Hi Blazey! Whatcha doing this fine evening? Out on the town with....Victoria?"
Blaze was a bit offended on how Amy zei her daughter's name."Why did u say Victoria's name like that? u sounded angry."
Amy felt like a ticking time bomb ready to explode and blow up the whole planet, especially Blaze. She managed to calm down, but speed walked away. "Hey Ames, wait up!" zei Silver, who was usually quiet. Amy sped away completely oblivious to the surrounding noise.
She slammed her apartment door open and plopped down on her nice, cosy sofa. "Stupid Blaze, Stupid Silver, damn Victoria.."she swore. "Why can't their be just one girl who could shine brighter than that little hedge cat??? of maybe I should sign up for prostitution..." Then a knock was heard on the door. It was Amy's ex-love, Sonic. "Hi Amy! I've got great news!" Amy's ears perked up. The only great news Sonic brought was that there was a 50% sale on chili dogs. "What's the news?" She zei desperately.
" I've found a little girl who's got the looks, talent, grace, and passion needed to beat Victoria!"
"Really?!?!?!"
"Yea! She's in the lobby. Come on!"
Sonic and Amy took the elevator and arrived at the Santa Monica Apartments lobby. There stood a little beige feeks, "vixen" with huge blue owl eyes and a long tuft of white hair on her head. She was wearing a tutu and a cardigan, vest with red Mary Janes shoes. "H-H-Hello?" She zei shyly," I have seen your posters around town and I want to audition." Amy stared at the vixen. She was absolutely perfect! "Come on in!" Amy said. "You're definitely cut out for the job!"
"Can I call u Auntie Amy? Because that's what it zei on your posters."
Amy crouched down and smiled genuinely, "Call me whatever ya want sweetie. Your gonna be a superstar!"
The feeks, "vixen" brightened up. "So when does my training start? My mom, Angelica, needs to know when to pick me up. Oh, door the way my name is Oricala." Amy liked her name. "Your mom can pick u up at 5 p.m. Now let's go! Training awaits!"
Sonic smiled as he saw the two warm up to each other. He said," Amy might actually have a chance at beating Victoria..."
