cool. i watched an episode of that one in pure japanese without any fansubs when it first came out. had no idea what was going on, but it was cool anyways.

oh, later on we did watch the whole thing with fansubs. it's been so long though, that i forgot most of what happened though. but i can watch it any time i want now on Netflix now.

I watched to whole series there for about three days straight over the summer since I didn't have anything better to do. This is one anime thats awesome yet funny at the same time

1996? wow, i got the impression this was older than that. i would have guessed 1993.

i'll never forget that when i watched this in college, the fansub indicated that she referred to her agent as her "pimp". i laughed so hard when they later used the word "agent" in the official translation.

u watched it a little before i did then. a lady co-worker of mine felt the need to educate me and insisted that i watch it on tv and i got hooked.

The funny part is that though my mom is the one who complains to me about anime it was her who got me into anime door watching this. (at the time I only seen Yugioh but didn't like it much, I only liked the japanese art)

yeah, they probably didn't air this one during saturday morning cartoons, so it makes sense that u saw it when your mom watched it.
