Post an image of the most frightening thing you've seen in anime.

Malamar is the most frightening thing I've ever seen in anime. It's a Dark and Psychic type Pokémon from the Kalos Region. It first appeared in the episode "Kalos- Where Dream and Adventures Begin!" however this was only a cameo appearance. The first major appearance of Malamar was in the episode "A Conspiracy to Conquer" where a wild Malamar, (pictured below), was controlling Officer Jenny while at the same time building a super weapon designed to help it take over the world. Malamar got control of everyone except Ash and Meowth, but when everyone, including Officer Jenny got free from Malamar's control, Malamar showed them it's weapon and escaped while boasting about it's plot. That same Malamar is set to appear later on in the series, and I'll admit, I'm absolutely horrified, because it was so evil and terrifying originally, and I can't help but think about how much meer evil and terrifying it's going to be the seconde time around.

There were a lot of terrifying moments in Another, Tokyo Ghoul, Hell Girl and Ghost Hunt. But it's hard pinpointing a specific instance that was frightening, pretty much all was spooky.

But something that does stand out in my mind is the shadow curse youkai in Natsume Yuujinchou! That thing was creepy! And it mainly just stood there, creepily moving closer and closer to his house. It was freaky! It was in the 12th episode of the 1st season called "Five-day Mark."
