This is my favorite anime kiss, this is one of the most romantic and sweetest scenes I have ever seen. Screw Junjou Romantica, this right here is pure love and romance.
I also love Hatori & Chiaki's, Kirito & Asuna's, and even though I haven't seen Honey & Clover that kiss cracks me up. XD

Narusasu: If I was doing that, there would have been a lot of nominations left out of these polls (this one as well). I did not allow that particular one, because it is supporting pedophilia and I will not give anything close to that support. It'll be like if there was a best 'Best Historical Figure' poll and someone nominated Hitler. And I don't think you should talk about being mature miss 'rape is romantic'.

Just because you find it offensive, doesn't change her right to enjoy it. I also remember the fanpop awards being started by someone else and you complained when she left out your nominations. If I remember correctly, you also called her immature for doing the same thing you're doing now.

I've never seen Junjou Romantica, but to my understanding the two men in the scene are both consent adults....I don't see how that's pedophilia. And even if it was pedophilia, (which I do not support in any way) everyone still has the right to nominate whatever they want as long as it follows the category. I realize this is a conversation I probably don't belong in, but, this seems quite unfair to me.

This was one of the cutest and saddest scene in Elfen Lied. You really get to see Lucy's feeling toward Kouta and it's just so...sweet. Ryuuji and Taiga's kiss was sweet too.

i chose rosario just because it was long awaited for and the anime never had it. but elfen lieds kiss was amazing and touching then 3rd would be air lol

Well first and foremost, I haven't really finished Junjou Romantica yet, so my opinion wouldn't count. I would just like to say that pumpkin has every right to not include an entry, because it is her contest and she is in charge of it. However, I think that it is a little unfair to not include a pairing in a poll because it is kind of offensive. I do not support pedophilia in anyway, but I do kind of get pumpkin's point if she sees it that way, because they have a large age gap. But even so, a kiss is still a kiss, whether it's just an accidental one or a romantic one. My point is even though I think that leaving her entry out is kind of unfair, this is pumpkin's contest so she could do whatever she wants with it. If you're really bothered about it, just like Emo said, then just don't nominate anymore.

Weither they get their sex from rape, they don't care. Weither someone is old enough to be their father, as long as they get their sex, they are fine. Do you know that in Japan to be of age/an adult you must be 20? So that right there, proves that it is pedophilia. Also 17 years apart, if you are old enough to be someone's parent, normal people with common sense will see that as pedophilia. Don't know how it works in your state, but in mine, that big of an age difference Is still seen as pedophilia, no matter what 'wiki' says. So yes, I'll go back to loving my 'regular and normal' pairings, because they are the pairings that actually have a loving relationship in them.Though, not that you know what love really is. Technically if one of them is an adult it's legal. An age gap really makes no difference. In my state I'm pretty sure the age of consent is 18. Also even if someone did vote hitler as best historical figure, they still have the right to do that even if it offends people. Being offended isn't reason enough to restrict someone's freedom. People have the right to believe what they want. How would you feel if someone made a poll about "best kiss" and left out a nomination because it was homosexual and it offended them? I think you'd probably be pretty ticked. And before you say I'm comparing being gay to being a pedophile, I'm not. I actually support gay marriage. My point is just that in the interest of fairness you really shouldn't exclude a nomination just because you find it offensive.

Apparently you can't read, because I wasn't comparing the two. I was simply pointing out that being offended by something is not a valid basis to completely ban it. I was even very clear about that. But since you couldn't comprehend when I explained it the first time I guess I'll have to be more precise. By using the analogy of someone being offended by homosexuality I was pointing out that it was wrong to ban something on the basis of some people finding it offensive.
