Things are starting to come together in Merlin… (or should i say break apart?) as we near the finale. Here’s twelve teasers for episode 11, which airs on Saturday, 15 December at 8.15pm on BBC One.

» “She is brazen!”

» “I fear you’re wrong Arthur!”

» “What right have you to question me?”

» “No matter what he preaches he is no different from his father – A tyrant, brute…”

» “There are some parts woven so deeply into the fabric of the world Merlin, that nothing can be done to change them!”

» “I will not rest until you are dead and your kingdom is no more!”

» “Then she is more foolish than I thought.”

» “What of the bond between Knights?”

» “You took me in, I will always remember that… and everything you’ve done for me.”

» “You can do as you wish, It will not stop Morgana’s uprising.”

» “Please Arthur, you have to listen to me.”

» “Use your magic. Do it!”

Can't summon up any excitement this week either...

My main hope is that it is not another filler episode like the null and void piece of last week.

Right there with you, kbrand. Truthfully, at this point I can't summon up any excitement for the remaining three episodes. There are so many things to do, with so few episodes remaining that I fear that the show runners are going to commit character assassination in order to justify the actions of certain characters, and fill in plot holes. It is sad that after nearly five years of watching this show, instead of being excited to see how it ends, I dread it. Sigh. At least the end is near. Not happy that the series finale is on Christmas eve. Nice f*ck you present to the fans if the ending sucks. The only good thing about the show finale being on a Monday, is that I will be at work instead of watching the live stream, and with tumblr and twitter, I will know how it ends, and therefore will know whether I should wait after Christmas to watch the episode.

Lucerne, I actually share your dread. As you said there is so much still left out there and so little time to do anything about it. I had such high hopes for this series only to see them dashed mostly. I hope there will be some twist at the end but doubt it. It sucks that a show that brought us all so much joy over the years might end with a resounding thud.

I agree with all. Except that I'm slightly more excited about this episode than I was about the last one which I didn't care about at all. They're probably going to screw it up but I do want to see their take on how Mordred turns against Arthur.

I'm looking forward to the Mordred story line. Since episode 9, I've lost something. Actually, I've slowly been losing something since the beginning of the season, I can't explain. But I will see my beloved show through to the end, and after it's all over, I'll look at favorite episodes and moments over and again in the days to come. And some of them are not all Arwen related.

Agree with you HumbleQueen, there is a feeling of lost and it's bscause the viewers know the show is ending. Another mistake, TPTB should have kept the end of the show a secret until after season 5 was over. People are losing interest in something they know is over and that there are so many loose ends left unresolved . Imagine it took me two days before I watched the last episode, that has never happened before, I used to be there within an hour to watch it. When I finally watched the episode, all I saw were a barely there picnic, same for breakfast in bed . If you blinked you would miss the few Arwen scenes, unfortunately we all knew there was going to be very few Arwen scenes for the remaining episodes. Those we had in previous episodes were left on the cutting floor. We are feeling cheated and robbed of 5 years of our time, only to come to this. No matter what the ending is we already had too many disappointed episodes with unanswered questions, too late, they will never be answered, they missed the boat.
