As mentioned earlier, white people don't exist in Avatar, but these characters just look white to me, especially Aang, Suki, Malina, and the Zhang tribe leader and tbf I'm pretty sure Aang and Bolin were modeled after white people and it shows (although Aang does look like a believable Tibetan monk as a kid which is what he's supposed to be). I was about to put Tenzin and Ty Lee, but I've seen a few asian guys that look like him and Ty Lee just doesn't look asian because the art style gives her a more cartoonish face.

So much. It's funny how defensive tumblr and Twitter get over this. They pretend it's stupid to think Suki or anyone would look white and insist it's just because racist westerners think all asians have dark slanted eyes.

Orrrrr, Jennifer, it's because your average Asian (be they Thai, Indian, Japanese, Filipino, etc) pretty obviously is unlikely to have pale blue based skin, round light eyes, red hair, pert little noses, etc. Much less all at once. Who looks more like Asian folks you've seen- Zuko or Sailor Moon? Probably not the latter.
