I think my cat has ear mites.

So, my cat keeps scratching his ear and holding it at weird angles. He has an itch that's driving him nuts. I looked up the symptoms and I think he might have ear mites. Has anyone had any experience with their cat and ear mites that could help me bevestig that that's what it is? I can't afford the vet and I'm really worried.

When we adopted our kitten, at her first check-up the vet noted that she had ear mites. She was gegeven a 10 dag course of ear drops. I hadn't noticed that she had been scratching her ears excessively, but before she had come to live with us, she had been an outdoor cat.

If u can't afford a vet, are there any places like Humane Society clinics near you? They tend to be much less expensive, and may even offer fees on a sliding scale.

Good luck to u and your cat.

Thank you. My mom and I decided to clean any debris out of his ears and give him a bath. If that doesn't help, I'll see about getting him ear drops. I'm not sure about any Humane Society clinics in my area, but I'll look it up. Thanks again for your help. :)
