I remember liking this back in HS, it was SUCH a good idea. I guess it must have done bad to be taken off air so fast

Yes! Great show. It's always the good shows that get cancelled the quickest. (sigh)

It wasn't cancelled because it was meant to be a one year thing. Everyone was too busy to continue on with the project. Bill Lawrence went on to do Scrubs, anlong with Christina Miller and many others from the show. Will Forte would have been too busy with Saturday Night Live, and Nicole Sullivan went on to do the King of Queens. It was not cancelled, it was a mutual breakup.
