I really liked Elena talking to Ric about Damon.
And I found it somewhat amusing that she wanted Alaric to disapprove and then he didn't... he sort of encouraged Elena in this.
I also found funny that at first the trip was "to get Jeremy back, it's not safe, blah blah blah"
And then when Alaric asks if she does have feelings for Damon she zei that's why she's going on the trip, to figure things out.
It's just that it's two different (both important) things to do in ONE trip... lol.

Watched the pilot again, and noticed something odd. When Stefan comes home pagina from the party at the falls and finds Damon there, Damon reveals he knows why S decided to return to MF: "Elena." If Damon saw Elena for the first time at the cemetery earlier that day, (as I'd always assumed), then how did he know her name? S had been spying on her for weeks cause he thought she was Kat.
