I still continuously see people remarking on Pocahontas "lack of personality." It has been a little meer uncommon, but just for the other nonbelievers, I decided to write this. I know many will beg to differ, but it's just the way I see it. If u have any reason to disagree, go ahead and leave a comment. I'm up to defend her. XD Okay, I'll quit rambling on and actually start the article.

The Start

We first begin to see Pocahontas' personality in the very beginning. She leaves us with a lasting first impression. We can see how she is connected to nature from the very start. Seeing her jump off the cliff shows Pocahontas' meer adventurous side. She is playful throughout the scene with Nakoma. That is just the start. Also, Pocahontas is always being playful and having fun with Nakoma.

Inquisitive, Too

Pocahontas has as much as a curious side as any other princess. Most of the time, people overlook this trait. She is is not only desiring to know about the white men, but especially John Smith. The way she speaks to him and messes around with his helm shows how curious she is.

 "It's a helmet." -John Smith
"It's a helmet." -John Smith

Her Most Noticeable Trait

We all know people remember Pocahontas for her indecisiveness. We see it from the start, from Just Around the Riverbend" to whether she wanted to save John Smith's life. I actually find indecisiveness to be a admirable trait. I know it sounds crazy, but it means u actually take time to think things through. Obviously, there are majorly indecisive people that are even indecisive about what food to eat, but I do not see Pocahontas as that type of person.

"Should I choose the smoothest course?"
"Should I choose the smoothest course?"

Possibly Pessimistic

Let's be honest, Pocahontas is not always looking on the bright side of things. She is never enthusiastic about having to marry Kocoum, nor does she have a positive outlook on all the possibilities of the marriage. It is a meer subtle trait, but still.

 "But.. he's so serious."
"But.. he's so serious."

Lust AND Love

Yes, most of Pocahontas and John Smith's relationship was based on lust. Yet though, I still can detect the love she has for John Smith in her heart. If she really didn't love him, she most likely wouldn't have left the village when her father forbade her from it. She wouldn't have zei John Smith's life if it weren't for love for not only him, but for her people and the white people. She loved John Smith enough to let him go, so he wouldn't die.

 "I love him, father!"
"I love him, father!"

To Be Caring and Determined

This trait is most prominent in "Savages Pt. 2." Her entire part of that song is her tonen her care for everyone, that war was not needed, and she was determined to stop it. She also showed her caring side when Thomas killed Kocoum. She had no interest in the man, but she still cared that he was dead.

"Is there nothing I can do? Still I know I have to try."
"Is there nothing I can do? Still I know I have to try."

Mature, Not Personality-less

Pocahontas becomes meer mature towards the end of the movie. We are talking about war here. She couldn't be ecstatic of hyper all of the time. She had things to do, like stopping a war, rather than fooling around. We all have to grow up and become meer mature, and Pocahontas was just becoming an example of that.

"How loud are the drums of war?"
"How loud are the drums of war?"

These are just the meer prominent and noticeable traits I see in Pocahontas. I hope u like the article, and sorry for it being so lengthy!
Charming choked out dirty water as he struggled to stay afloat. He could hear his wife screaming his name somewhere, but the pain in his stomach wouldn't leave his mind alone.
Le Fou was slapping the water with his arms and shouting out nonsense. Among them, Charming heard, "I can't swim!"
Great, Char. Now you're gonna have to do the right thing. He started paddling toward Le Fou but drew back after the pain stung him again. He looked into the black water and saw red coming.
"Le Fou, hold onto Princey!" Gaston yelled.
Le Fou scrambled toward the prince and climbed onto him.
Charming groaned....

A/N#1: Well this Chapter 6 and I really don't know where this chapter
is going to go....so I will see where it takes itself.

Chapter 6:

"Why do u think they let us go?" I heard Adam ask from beside
me as we walked over branches and bushes, we were nearing the
town.
Stopping completly and leaning against a boom I looked at him for
awhile trying to come up with an answer.
"The Honest truth is that I really don't know why he let us go, but
we now probably created a war" This scared me, what would my parents
think hearing that I had been kidnapped door Natives on the dag of
my arrival because I had...

I know, plenty of people have did a lijst like this and a lot meer lists as well so woo-hoo, I'm doing one too. Look at me, I'm joining the crowd. Yay. Anyway, I feel that since this is the maand for Disney Princess Couples on this spot, now would be the perfect time to figure out which couples goes where. I already knew my top, boven two, and now I think I've got all the rest worked out. So sit back, have some popcorn, and enjoy the lijst that's probably exactly like a bunch of other people's!

Typical to put them down so low, I know. I have nothing against either of...

"Once Upon a Time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess"-
Nope. If you're looking for the cliche fairytale of how a motherless drop dead gorgeous 16 jaar old with a horrible life, who then meets a prince, talks to him for a bit, and then marries him the volgende day, this isn't the story for you. For this story doesn't have a typical beginning, nor a typical ending, and very few typical things in between
Our story starts off in a place called Aladora, ever heard of it? Probably not. For Aladora's in an alternate dimension, and is very different from our world. Aladora is nothing but...

9.Pocahontas, I thought she would at least make it a little higher due to her playfulness and curiosity, but I guess, people say she's too mature and serious.

8.Mulan, I do wonder why she made it this low as well, she's so clumsy and cute at times, but people say she's meer cool than cute.

7.Jasmine, people just consider her a spoiled brat.

6.Belle, so many people just find her boring and uninteresting.

5.Tiana, she looks cute, but she's far too serious.

4.Aurora, she does have her cute moments, but she's meer graceful and angelic meer than anything.

3.Cinderella, she is kind and innocent, but she's a bit meer mature.

2.Ariel, She's cute but there are times when she is sassy, and rude.

1.Snow White, IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME SHE WINS SOMETHING!!!!
What do I have to say? She, sweet, innocent and bubbly.
Belle had always considered herself to be a patient person. She was always able to calm her father down when he was complaining about his latest invention being a failure. She generally hid her disdain towards the arrogant Gaston door being courteous and polite, no matter how rude he was acting. Children from the village generally looked to her to help them solve their disagreements with one and other. Yes, it was true that Belle had the gift of patience. But as she had been locked up door a beast and was now waiting on a spoiled princess all in one day, Belle realized that...

Aurora walked around a bit and with a glance of glee, she found the other six princesses sleeping under the tree. “Hello!” Aurora greeted.
“Mmm...mmm…” Snow White replied sleepily, she was not totally awake yet.
“Apparently they don’t hear us,” John Smith told Aurora. “Let me try.”
John Smith walked toward Pocahontas and with a gentle voice, he whispered, “Pocahontas, I am back.”
Pocahontas abruptly woke up, waking up the other six princesses. After she...

Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The maand meer popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each maand I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!

I was recently informed that the problem with the pictures in the artikels is gone, and now the pictures can be put inside the text. However, I'm going to continue using mainly pictures for my articles, because first of all, that's what I've been doing for the rest of the artikels from these series, and second, I like this way of doing articles! So maybe at some point I will switch back to the explanatory and sophisticated words articles, but for the time being I will stick to my picture articles!

Here are the results of the POTM Hairstyles Countdown: ~*Pocahontas*~ (May 2013)! Enjoy and share your opinion!

Hello, everybody! It's been a long time since u last heard of me (some complications with writing) but - here we are.

Today we'll talk about my favoriete DP's hair - no, not hairstyles, hair. Without further ado, let's get started!

14. Anna

I don't hate her hair, I just don't find it interesting - nothing attracts me in it. I don't care for the color of that white strip, and she has a awful bedhead. The only thing I like is that cute fringe.

Oh, and for the record, I don't think it would look any better loose.

Pouting won't get u any higher, sweetheart.

Those of u using the word selfish still do not see that u are using this word the wrong way, and frankly seem like fake Ariel fans. Cause no Ariel fan would call her such a hateful, negative word. The definition of selfish is : "devoted to caring for oneself and ones interests only, greedy. Regardless of others". the words that can be used in place of of Selfish are : narcissistic, greedy, hoggish, mean, narrow-minded, out for number one, narcissistic, prejudiced, wrapped in oneself. This definition and these words do not describe Ariel at all in any way. They describe Ursula, and the other...

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...
