On the eighth dag of Princess Walt Disney gave to me
Eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend
four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.
I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with jasmijn that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found of created a picture of jasmijn if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made an exception here and included the prince in the picture (well, I kind of included Naveen, too, but only as a frog).
Remember what I zei in the last artikel about discovering all those cool information about Heiva? This little project proved to be in general a learning experience regarding the most famous holidays and where and how they get celebrated. I knew from the get go that I wanted to include non-Christian holidays, but that proved to be extremely difficult. With Jewish Holidays my main problem was that the "big ones" were all in months in which I already decided on a different holiday, plus, a lot of them are meer long term celebrations of the kind, which made it difficult to pin down one single specific date. So in the end, I had to give up on that idea, but I really, really wanted at least an Islamic holiday, only to discover, that different leanings of Islam are using a slightly different calendar, resulting in different dates for their celebrations. On top, boven of this, some holidays are based on the lunar calendar. For example if I had picked Eid al-Fitr, the Festival of Breaking the Fast which is celebrated towards the end of Ramadan, I could have only added an approximately datum for it.
Though I admit, the holiday I wanted to include the most was Eid-al Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice) anyway, which I guess is the most well known celebration of them all and is at least somewhat celebrated around the same time in most places. Problem was that volgende jaar it will basically start in July, but end in August. And just marking the starting dag would have put me in the situation having to either pick the Sunni of Shia date. My first thought was to just pick the datum which is used in my country, but this would have been July 30, and I had my hart-, hart set on featuring Heiva in July. So I ended up with a small cheat door marking the holiday in August, but in a way which suggests that it is a celebration which starts beforehand but bleeds into the first weekend in August. I hope I don't offend anyone with this decision.
Also, there is naturally no inclination that jasmijn is even following any faith at all, but I think it is fair to say that if any princess represents this holiday, it should be her. For the icoon I tried to create something which captured the religious as well as the celebratory nature of the festival.
For the goud version I felt that a peacock feather would be the best symbol for her. As usual I created a version with Jasmine:
And one just featuring her name:
In the pantheon, she is replacing Hermes/Mercury, as goddess of travel, communication and thieves.
Speaking of thieves, for the banner I deliberately picked something which featured her first encounter with Aladdin, just to have her in an entirely different style of clothing for this one. I also felt that it fit the quote I picked for her the best.
Not sure when the volgende artikel will be up, because pre-christmas preparation are starting to take up my time plus, I still have to finish the last artikel for this years fairy tale maand (featuring Snow White) over at my blog, but it will be done door the weekend at the latest.

The Way
Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Pocahontas will fit the song, especially when the respective love ones see them for the first time.
Without You
Taken from his 'A Thousand Different Ways' album, originally sung door Mariah Carey. Eric would sing this when he rescues Ariel and vice versa.
This is the Night
From the Beast's perspective, he reassures himself that this is the night to admit his love for Belle. Including Rapunzel/ Flynn, Aladdin/ jasmijn and Anna/ Kristoff.
Here u Come Again
Mulan and Shang will sing in the finale of the film, they could not hide feelings to each other.
Clay Aiken Fan, Anyone?
Do u like Clay Aiken and do u all agree with the choices?
To all disney princesses fans
My enquête i created about the new icoon has raised some negative feedback about the new proposed one. Mainly because I have not commentaar gegeven about it on the Disney Princesses forum.
Therefore I am very sorry I had no idea u had to voice out your idea first and the enquête will be abandoned. I'm not sure how u wis a enquête but it's fair to say that the original icoon has 80% so it should win.
Please any vragen of concerns please commentaar below.
I hope I haven't lost any popularity because of this.

Let Them Have It!
Of course, if Disney were to make a movie about them together. The fairy godmother will give them a dragon stone that will turn them into dragons with each special powers! It will make the story interesting.
Don't Take It!
The story will be to dark for a Disney film, unless if Disney could tone down the appearance of the dragons themselves.
Dragon of Not?
Here are my thoughts of this theory, so what do u think?
Hebrew (Einat Azulay)
Okay, She sounds relatively fresh and young. However, she sounds a bit heavy and stiff at certain parts, especially the first part of the chorus. (Ratings: 8.5/10
Arabic (Shorouq Salah)
I absolutely love Arabic muziek and their voices, unlike her Hebrew counterpart. She sounds smooth and it makes the audience relax and get along with Anna easily, especially in For the First Time in Forever! (Ratings:10/10)
For the First Time in Forever!
So, only 2 were feature because I'm not really sure who is the Persian actress for Anna sadly to say. Our final destination is the Americas!
