I LOVE this movie to pieces but yes it has some problems. Why did a drop from the sun drop and how did it grow a flower? How did Gothel know the words to the flower songs? How did she know Rapunzel had the power of the flower in her hair and didn't try to find the flower itself? How did Rapunzel know how to swim when she's never been outside or learned how to swim?

What KL said, though I don't know if the song thing is really a plothole and I don't think the first and the second he pointed out are plotholes:

1) It's Disney - magic happens all the time.
2) She used logic: the Queen ate the flower ang gave birth to a golden-haired child, even though both her and her husband have brown hair, so the flower's power must be in her hair.

Why the heck did Gothel tell Rapunzel about her actual birthday? If she hadn't Rapunzel wouldn't have been so interested in the lanterns.

Nope! The movie isn't one of my absolute favorites, but it's well made for sure.

Not perfect but compared to say Frozen Tangled has no plotholes.

Only how Rapunzel got her name. Did Gothel name her or did her parents?
Oh well, that's not really important to the plot I guess.

I've been thinking about it and I don't really think this movie has plotholes: Rapunzel didn't really swim. I mean, she just swam upwards and Flynn was helping her.

What did rapunzel's parents call her? Why did a sun drop fall? Why would gothel's keep her birthday the same? Why is she able to be a good people person when she was trapped in a tower most of her life? The fact that it is CGI I hate. It's annoying. Even if they weren't any plot holes I would hate that movie. It's FAR from perfect either way.

It's probably the most flawless DP movie.

I can't think of any but it's far from perfect.
