Whoa! I'm sorry for Mulan to be voted out instead of THIS FLOPPY MESS! She DEFINITELY doesn't deserve the top 5 for me.

It will be a nice hair if her hair isn't too long and unmanageable.

wavesurf picked Elsa:
Well, I kind of expected Mulan to leave... Even though I love the straight, silky quality of Mulan's hair, most people in this club don't. They think Mulan's hair is dull. It's beyond me why they prefer Merida's messy, tangled, knotted, frizzy hair which doesn't "handle" a comb, a brush, much less "a hairstyle" at all. That's why Merida has NO bleeping hairstyle. She just runs around in frizz for the entire movie.

Same as before. The blondish-white color is rather unbecoming, for one. Secondly, it's too floppy, and reminds me of those white floor mops used in the restaurant kitchens. Third, the braid is the most boring hairstyle ever, be it on curly or straight-haired people.

Like Ema said, Elsa doesn't deserve the top 5 at all! Ironically, along with sharing some abrasive and abusive personalities, the other thing most of the Moderns share is AWFUL HAIR. Just awful. And people flock to loving it, as if it were all that. Please. Just because it's CGI, doesn't automatically mean it's beautiful.

I'm noticing a trend in this hair countdown. The top ten is heavily populated by the CGI princesses, while the bottom is made up of mostly 2D princesses. Wow, the prejudice in this club against 2D hair is STRONG.

Her hair is too generic. And much too straight. It should be a little more wild if it is so long.

Same issue as Mulan's - dimensionless, pin-straight, and not vibrant at all. I actually really like the way hair like theirs looks in real life, all silky and shiny; too bad it doesn't come across at all in the animation.

I generally hate how CGI makes people look, but I think the way hair is animated in it is often nicer than 2D, or at least more interesting: you can see texture and highlights and stuff.

@wavesurf: curly hair is NOT AWFUL. I feel they are beautiful. Just because they are more difficult to manage doesnt mean they are not beautiful. The thing is that you just cannot attain those curls if not naturally given. You can get silky straight hair permanently with plenty of techniques. So they are unique too.

I don't see the trend in this countdown at all actually. Top 10 will consist of 5 CGI and 5 2D. It is actually fairly balanced. I fail to see the prejudice.

@Anukriti: Okay. I'm glad you feel that way. But I have gotten the opposite picture. And curly hair is unmanageable and curly hair IS AWFUL. You don't get hairstyles or anything else out of it. If, you get it straightened, it BREAKS OFF ENTIRELY. And just because curly hair shows up on my scalp and in 3D animation, doesn't mean I'll like it any better. Curly hair IS AWFUL, and the FRIZZ is UGLY. Go around saying "it's beautiful" if you like, but you will hear from other people in the world who don't like it, and will proudly say so.

And about the other point I made, that you decided to latch onto... Oh, let's see... Almost all of the 3D princesses Disney has, both the official and unofficial ( that would be Anna, Elsa, Merida, Moana, and Rapunzel) are in the TOP TEN of this countdown. ALL OF THEM!!!!!! We only see Jasmine, Mulan, Belle, Poca, and Aurora, from the 2D animation, where there are considerably more 2D characters. How come everybody who is 3D made it to the TOP TEN?????? Honestly, THAT IS SKEWED. And no one really loves the hair of the 2D princesses that made it to the top ten. The actual hair favorites from the 2D animation eras were booted out in the bottom half. Everyone else's 3D favorites are in the top ten!!! It is PREJUDICED. And this countdown was unfair.

Yeah. You would fail to see the prejudice, Anukriti, because you got your own favorites validated, while people who didn't really love everything about 3D animation got far less for having participated in this countdown.

^Curly hair is awful? Or this is just another statement you said for show your hatred with princesses that you hate? I feel you said that just because Merida, a princess that you hate so much, have the curly hair. Okay, maybe you don't like Merida's hair, but saying curly hair is awful is too "prejudiced". Merida isn't the only one who have curly hair. You seems to judge that all curly hairs on the others beside Merida were all awful, too.

Then why if all five CGI princesses' hairs are in top 5? And 2D hairs not? This is the results of fans here, this is definitely NOT your list. You seems to NOT RESPECT other peoples' opinion and choices. Please, NOT EVERYONE have the same taste like you have.

I really don't see how this result is prejudice and unfair. The result is determined by number of comments and princess who have the most comments are eliminated. You said it was unfair because your favorites are left early than your least favorites, I'm 100% sure about it.

wavesurf picked Elsa:
^And how is that fair? Honestly? So Ariel was eliminated by a mere 3 comments, while it took 5 rounds, two tied rounds, and 6 and 7 comments to eliminate Merida? And it takes another 6 or seven comments to eliminate Rapunzel and Elsa? But it only takes just 3 comments to eliminate Ariel, and only 5 to eliminate Jasmine?

Yeha. You ( and others) do seem to kow-tow to the Modern era, and go around saying anything and everything else from other eras is-- overrated--- (which is malarkey/baloney)-- and yet, the repeated evidence from the countdowns and the polls in this club tells otherwise. The Modern era is still getting SO MUCH attention and love from most people in this club, and fans from the Revival era are a huge demographic on this DP club. They outnumber ANY other fanbase on here!!!!!

Just because I BOTHER to point out what is DIRECTLY OBVIOUS to anyone who is paying attention, doesn't mean I need you to counter it, Sparklefairy, and offer up yet more of the derision the Revival fans seem to "offload" on me. Merida's hair is ugly. But so is real life curly hair, which people deal with minimally. Do you watch how they deal with it????!!!! They fasten it back to their heads, and try to keep it from overpowering their faces and everywhere else. That's how we DEAL WITH IT. Yes, it is ugly. And it is PAINFUL to comb, manage, style, wash, and maintain. It is a CHORE to live with. So yes, you can love it all you want--- but you need to hear, equally, about those who HATE IT. And you, and others who are Revival fans, need to respect the unhappy comments from other people who tell you that your "exclusive" point of view-- which is the majority on this club--is NOT the only viewpoint there is.

CGI hair up-close is rough, twiggy, and not really that nice to look at. I still stand by what I've said. I'm not impressed with CGI hair. And most of the Revival DPs wear that same rough, twiggy mess, that Shrek's Fiona had. Face it. You belong to the majority in this club. Congrats on being part of a large fanbase who can make their views really loudly, and "dump on" any of the other opinions you hear.

^And you should quit making the blatant assumption that all curly-haired people should love their hair, and 'identify' with it, simply because you do. It would be really rad if you weren't so condescending, too.

sure, as soon as you can pull up some proof that i literally ever said this - i simply i said i love mine, and that not everyone hates their curls just because you can't control yours. you're entitled to have hangups about your hair, just don't force it on everyone else. i'm like the third person in this thread who has had to explain this to you.

Sparklefairy375 picked Rapunzel:
@Wavesurf: What?! Don't you see, Ariel is eliminated by only three comments as the other princesses only got one or two comments: link. And also Jasmine. They are eliminated by only a few comments because there are many other options that peoples can pick. While Merida, Rapunzel, and Elsa were eliminated in the 8 last rounds. I'm not sure if you really read my previous comment and analyze what I mean.

"The Modern era is still getting SO MUCH attention and love from most people in this club, and fans from the Revival era are a huge demographic on this DP club."

Are you out of your mind?! In fact, the Modern era doesn't getting much love here. See, Tiana and Merida both are unpopular and doesn't really have many fans. Most of peoples tend to put Tiana and Merida as least favorites. The only Revival era princess who was as popular as the other previous DPs is Rapunzel. The Renaissance DPs are the one who getting MUCH ATTENTION! Ariel, Belle, Mulan are getting so much love from the fans. They are more iconic and known first that Revival princesses, made them really popular. See, your comments are getting MORE AND MORE ILLOGICAL AND TOTALLY A BULLSH*T!!
.
"They outnumber ANY other fanbase on here!!!!!"

Seriously? What I see the one who outnumber any other fanbase here is mostly Renaissance princess fans. Ariel's fans, Belle's fans, Mulan's fans. Majority peoples on this club are tend to be a fan of one of the princess that I mentioned. Plus Rapunzel's fans, but it doesn't give much influence as Rapunzel is the only Revival princess who was popular in Revival era.

I don't really care if you said CGI hairs, are awful, unmanageable, etc. But saying "Curly hair is awful" without made reference to which curly hair that you think it's awful, like I said before, it's too "prejudiced". Maybe you have curly hair and you don't like it, but not everyone who have that hair feels the same thing. If you hate your hair, don't force everyone else to be hate curly hair. Not everyone hate curly hair. They have different perspective than your "conservative" perspective.

"Congrats on being part of a large fanbase who can make their views really loudly, and "dump on" any of the other opinions you hear."

You get me wrong, again. I appreciate any other opinions even the one that I disagree, but in this case the way how you share your opinion is TOTALLY RUDE! Your rudeness words about Merida, Elsa, Belle, Tiana, and Revival Era, that's what made me TOTALLY LOATHE! You're not the only one who dislike them all, but you said such really a loudly view. While the others are never said those rude statements like you do. Ha Ha! Ironically, in fact that statement actually BELONGS TO YOU, NOT ME!!
YOU ARE THE FANATIC WHO JUST WANT TO INTRUDE YOUR VIEWS TO THE OTHERS!!!

@wavesurf: no curly hair is not awful. Maybe urs are if you say so. Mine are beautiful. Yea, loads of people will say curly hair is awful and so the other load will also say straight hair is boring and dull. That doesnt prove anything. I can give you tons of style tips if you want to style and manage them.

Just because Ariel got eliminated before your least favorites doesnt make the countdown results skewed. By the way my favorite is Belle and I find her hair one of the most boring hair ever. Unlike you, whose favorite princess needs to win every countdown and be validated by 100% fans on this club. If you'll notice another poll, there's hardly a percentage difference between fans liking CGI and 2D hair animation. So i'd say you need to notice the obvious here. It's a countdown, someone will be eliminated first.
