Now we're getting to the hard part of the countdown for me. I liked the Merida ornament but the rest of these ornaments left I adore and I happen to own all of them as well.

I reluctantly have to pick the Snow White ornament. Although I'm a big fan of it, I prefer the others more and the paint job on my particular Snow White is not the best anyway. Her hairline is not painted properly and some of the dark blue of her bodice is also on her sleeve.

Probably this one, though these six really are the best ones out of the whole lot.

^I'm so glad we agree. I forgot to respond to your comment about Ariel on the previous poll, but I 100% agree with you. As much as I love her as a mermaid, Ariel herself wanted to be a human and I'm glad there is merchandise that exists of her in human form when she's at her happiest and her dreams are coming true. I really hope she doesn't get voted out too early since she's easily my first or second favorite ornament here.

The others are more popular in my country.

@Asteriamalfoy: SAME. I own sixteen Ariel ornaments ( and two of Ursula, lol), and ALL of them, except for this year's, feature her as a mermaid! I mean, come on. I get that people recognize her as a mermaid, but they don't want to feed/cater to the audience that sees Ariel really as a human?

That's why, when I saw this ornament, I went directly to the Disney site. But it was completely SOLD OUT.

My dream ornament would be one featuring Ariel and Eric in "tour of the kingdom," and right at the moment when he spins around and lifts her!

^wow, you must have a great collection! Do you have the ornament of Vanessa looking at her reflection of Ursula in the mirror? I only started to collect Disney sketchbook ornaments this year so I really want that so badly along with the Kiss the Girl 30th Anniversary ornament, but both are so expensive. And while not Ariel-related, there was a great Quasi and Esme ornament from 2016 which I always wanted to get but it became sold out, but I was finally able to snag that a few days ago on Ebay for a great deal considering how expensive it normally is.

For the DP ornament polls I've been running, I was in shock at how almost all the Ariel ornaments from the Disney Store feature her as a mermaid. Only the annual DP ornaments featuring the fabric skirts include her as human (which they didn't do this year), otherwise, with the exception of the Kiss the Girl 30th Anniversary ornament from last year, every sketchbook ornament has been her as a mermaid sitting on some rock. I like that iconic pose but it gets repetitive when they release similar looking figures over and over.

This current Ariel ornament is absolutely stunning! I'm so glad you were able to get it after it was sold out! Did you also get the Sebastian wedding topper one with Ariel and Eric? I got that as well, along with the Ariel/Ursula singing ornament. I think it's been a good collection for me since I just started this year and I have the most ornaments from TLM with 3.

I would adore that Tour of the Kingdom ornament you envisioned, especially with him lifting her and spinning her around! Here's hoping they do that sooner than later. I know the artist who designs these sketchbook ornaments is Steven Thompson but I don't know if he ever gets inspired by what fans tell him on his Instagram.

I think the others do a better job at representing their movies than this one.

So this one actually pisses me off because Rose's eyes are blue. They should be blue. They are blue when she opens her eyes after waking. They are only purple in one scene and I hate purpled-eyed Rose. She is not Liz Taylor.

^^Um, I wanted the Ursula singing into a mirror one, but it sold out everywhere, before I could get it. I have the Ursula singing "Poor Unfortunate Souls" to Ariel. Got that at Target before they completely sold out of it.

The Esme and Quasi one? I'm curious as to what it looks like? Maybe, I am behind. I have two glass figurines of Esme and the rest of the cast, snowglobes, jewelry boxes, dolls, etc.

Didn't get the Sebastian cake topper one. It looked cheesy, and I wasn't quite sold on it. They sold out of the Kiss the Girl one from last year, and now it's like $300+ on Ebay and everywhere else. I'll have to investigate harder.

Mine are mostly Ariel as a mermaid. But that's not my fault, as Disney doesn't produce her as a human that often. I bought the two Disney Princess Group snowglobes that feature Ariel as a human and not as a mermaid. But there are only two of those as far as I know, as well as one huge picture frame ( Ariel with the rest of the princesses) where she isn't a mermaid. I own that, too.

^Disney needs to make more of these TLM ornaments since they all seem to sell out. I have no idea how I'll be able to get my hands on the Vanessa/Ursula one and the Kiss the Girl one considering how expensive they are. My Disney Store luckily featured dozens of the Ariel/Ursula singing ornament so I was able to pick one up there since they were all sold out at Target. Disney Store had a great sale this Black Friday with the ornaments only $15 each instead of their usual $25, and on the actual Black Friday day, they were marked down to $12, so I picked up a bunch of them that way. I've heard they have another sale after Christmas based on what ornaments haven't sold out yet.

This is the Esme and Quasi one. It was released in 2016 so it's pretty expensive and hard to find now on Ebay. I was able to snag one for about $35 which is pretty decent considering it's usually around $70-80.

Last year they released an Esmeralda ornament with Djali. That's pretty cheap on Ebay, easily available below $15, so I'll be sure to get that. This year they had a singing Quasimodo ornament at the Disney Store which I also purchased. It wasn't available at Target though. The rest of the Hunchback merch I have is all from the 90s like an Enesco music box of Esmeralda and Phoebus. I'm glad to hear you have a lot of Esme merch!

The Sebastian ornament looks better in real life, or at least it did to me. I think it's sold out from Target now as well. Occasionally, Disney brings back ornaments that were super popular. The Big Ben ornament featuring Peter, Wendy, Michael, and John was released in 2016 and sold out and they brought it back this year. I know the singing Elsa ornament was re-released several years in a row. The Alice in Wonderland doorknob also got re-released several times because of popularity. Last year's singing Lilo, Stitch, and Nani ornament got released again this year allowing me to pick it up. However, I don't think Disney would re-release an anniversary ornament much to my irritation with the Kiss the Girl one.

Yeah, it's been pretty difficult to buy merch with Ariel as a human. For the longest time in the 2000s, it was next to impossible. The Disney Parks still had some things of Ariel in her wedding dress or a green version of her wedding dress. Even when they put Ariel in the pink dress in clipart, most of her actual merch still included her as a mermaid. The redesigns started putting her in that awful green dress everywhere and that actually did make some human items of her plentiful but I know how you feel about that look.

folks need to be thankful that disney is still makin products of ariel in her real form. before too long she gonna be black and we wont have real ariel ever again

It's boring compared to the others

@Duchess, they're purple for more time than they're blue, though she has like 3/4 different eye colors during the movie. In that limited screentime, purple is more shown and besides it makes her stand out.

Going back to this, I like Ariel's ornament a lot but the others represent the movies better imo. But still, I'm glad they made her human here.
