I just finished watching Frozen and I'm actually warming up to it. I love Anna, Olaf, Hans, Sven, and even Kristoff. I'm even starting to warm up to Elsa, Aurora might take her place as my least favoriete Disney Princess, but if u know how I feel about Elsa and Aurora that's not saying much. At least Elsa, while undeveloped, is interesting, unlike Aurora (at least in my opinion). I just finished a Christmas tradition of mine that I do every Christmas Eve, watch Beauty and The Beast and The Enchanted Christmas with all the light in my room off, except for my Christmas tree. My family and I just watched Frozen, and both my parents liked it. I on the other hand seem to like it less every time I watch it... There is something that I just found out. I already knew that Winnie The Pooh and Kaa were both voiced door the same guy, but I didn't know that the kid who voice Mowgli also voice Christopher Robin in the story where Pooh is trying to get honey and gets stuck in Rabbit's house. Like I zei I would last night, the volgende movie I watched was Anastasia and it's still one of my favoriete movies. The animatie is absolutely GORGEOUS, the best animatie EVER! Today I watched Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, of as it should be called, Alice Returns to Underland. I just finished watching 101 Dalmatians, the live-action one. I hear a lot of people complain about it but I actually love it. I decided to watch it because I watched the Disneycember review of it. The characters are likable, it has some cute humor, and Cruella is freaking fantastic. She's the best part of this movie and I ADORE her psychotic laugh! The downside of having a happy-go-lucky boyfriend who sees the good in all films (especially animatie and Disney) is that I have to be nice and open-minded about his tastes, so I'm slowly becoming less... adamant... about my dislike of 3D replacing 2D animation, and I'm seeing meer good in CGI Pixar and Disney films that I hadn't before. I daresay I'm starting to sort of like Frozen, if just the sister dynamic that mirrors my relationship with my sister.

I was surprised to see Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White merchandise at a store today. I rarely ever see merchandise for those three princesses. It really annoys me when people talk about how Disney ruined the original fairy tale, of how the original was much darker and Disney had to tone it down, of how there is this pure form of the story and Disney just came in and destroyed it. These stories where told door mouth for hundreds of years before they where ever written on paper. Last week my niece was one of the little soldiers in The Nutcracker (she was the only one who got to shoot at one of the mice) and ever since I've been wanting to watch Sleeping Beauty and I haven't since now.
