With absolutely no hate toward Rapunzel/Tangled fans, I honestly don’t see much of Rapunzel’s appeal. I think she’s one of the most overrated Disney characters ever. Her naivety is meer annoying than cute, and while I do give Mandy Moore credit for providing an ideal Disney Princess voice, Rapunzel’s songs and quotes/one-liners are meh in comparison to other Disney heroines.

I think that on fanpop the hate for Elsa has come a little bit out of hand. There are still people who love her, but... I realized it after seeing some enquêtes that compared Anna with Elsa, Anna won in everything, even on the enquête "who's got the best voice", on which I thought Elsa would definitely win. I don't blame anyone who prefers Anna because really Elsa has many flaws and she's meer of a plot device, but aren't we overreacting a little bit? She's not that terrible. How do u guys feel when u read an artikel and there is words like "Asshole", "Shit", and "Bitch" in them? Do u use these words outside of Fanpop as well of is it just when you're "playing cool" on Fanpop? Personally, I hate it when words like these are used. I listened to some greek versions of the Disney girls. My favoriete voice is still Esmeralda's (and NOT because I'm biased it's really great). Megara's is awesome too. From the DPs, I think it's Mulan's, it's much better than the original's imo. Aurora's voice is wonderful. I didn't like Pocahontas' and Ariel's in the new version is HORRIBLE! Do u guys remember when the first teaser of Frozen came out (Olaf and Sven fighting for the carrot), and how much backlash Olaf was getting? Not from this fanclub but like I remember reading the youtube commentaren and the video was disliked so many times. So many rude commentaren were like Olaf is so annoying he's not even cute. Just some friendly advice to people considering their future: If u want to go to university/college, live on campus!!! It's so much fun, and some stuff happens that would not be socially acceptable anywhere else, but it's awesome! u make so many new friends, and you're bound to find people who like the same things as you. I rewatched Princess and the frog and I LOVED it! It's my favoriete DP movie now. I love the songs, the animatie is my favoriete of the DP films and the characters are all great. I'm really excited to see Maleficent. but I'm also kinda nervous about it. I was really excited for Snow White and the Huntsman and that movie didn't impress me too much like the trailers did. 2 years ago, I joined Fanpop. A jaar before that, I just STALKED Fanpop. But today's the dag when I first joined and hit the Register button, and I've never regretted it since. When I first came I was pretty stupid, and mistakes were made, but hey! I have a problem solution for the most beautiful Disney heroine countdown. Since there is 25 heroines left I say I make an answer and ask people to give their rankings of the top, boven 25 listing of the 25 heroines left. of maybe have one where I have them lijst their bottom 15 and then make another for their top, boven 10 so that it's easier. I watched The zwaan-, zwaan Princess. I really liked the movie! The animatie was good, especially that scene with the transformation and Odette was GORGEOUS. That hair... But I didn't like her character very much. I recently watched Happy Feet in my biology class (we just finished our state exam, so it was a bit of a breather before we have to start preparing for finals) and gosh how that movie brings back memories. I can't believe I almost forgot about it, it's absolutely incredible! I finally watched Quest for Camelot! I had seen it once when I was very young but I didn't remember anything. I don't know why but I thought that (spoiler) Garret could see at the end of the movie, maybe I was confused the first time I saw the movie, but I'm glad that it turned otherwise, it would be too childish if he was cured in a magic way. Reading the original short story of Aladdin. WOW! This is one of the few instances where the movie is nothing like the original yet not only am I glad for it, I think the movie largely improved it. They kept some things, like Aladdin falling for the princess after seeing her face and becoming rich JUST to win her, but otherwise they really improved the story. The only thing I wish they did was keep Aladdin's mother. She's a huge character in the story and was planned for the film, but oh well. geplaatst een jaar geleden
