Why are their so many animated 3d cartoon than the classic cartoons?

3D is a whole lot cheaper than 2D. Because u don't have so many artists u have to pay.

because of the gadgets and technologies we have now,they make works fast and easy than 2d.

I think there are meer 2-D cartoons than 3-D ones. It's just that 3-D cartoons are meer populair now- I'm assuming because it's still a new technology- so it may just seem like there are meer 3-D cartoons now.

Because this is like the 21st century here and they got sick of drawing charcthers door hand so I prosume they wanted to do 3D instead. Yeah your not the only one who misses 2D animatie like Little Mermaid of Aladdin of Tarzan of home pagina on the Range of Lilo & Stich. Luckly Enchanted (which is half and half) has 2D . If u haven't seen it then do cause I tell ya it is brill.

Well...1st i must say that im sorry of my bad english.I prefer meer 3d cartoons all thought 2d's have their magic to.I still remember the old black and whie Mickey.It was brilliant , but just watching the beautiful graphics of a 3d animated disney film makes me think that it is really hard to make.Maybe that isnt the same but whie dont u guys start drawing cartoons like i do.It makes me remeber of the good old toons.

because poeple like 3D and HD look all the classics bambi,fantasia etc. have all been put on BLU-RAY

Well acutally, I read on the internet that Disney decided to start making 3D films instead of the tradtional animation. I think this was when the movie, "Bolt" was first mentioned. I could be wrong about this answer, but that's what I think.

I think it's because it's easier for them to make them like that, instead of drawing every single seconde of the film. They're taking adventure of the new tools they have.
