Does it bug you, of anger u when the auteur rewrites and of makes drastic changes to a story you've been reading?

For example: chapter changes, the deleting of chapters of adding new ones between old ones, fully modifying updates with new material to older chapters? I just want to know people’s opinions on this. I’m completely rewriting my story and want to know what to expect when I publiceer the new version, because so far it’s completely different from the original. I’ve deleted a lot of work, rewrote what I kept and added a lot of new material to several of my older chapters. So I was just wondering, what would u say if this happened to a story u were reading?
