Game of Thrones Vraag

I'm confused about what happened during the season 2 finale. What happened at Winterfell? Who burned the castle? Was it Theon Greyjoy's people? And if so, what happened to the 500 soldiers that were surrounding them?

u shouldn't be asking vragen like that, because u might not like the answer. The person who caused it were showed briefly but without presentation. I think he'll be back with a proper presentation of him and his family in season 3. I also recommend anyone who hasn't read the boeken to stay away from the westeros website as it contains major spoilers. u might not like the things u read there. (for instance people thought dead might still live)

The soldiers that were surrounding the kasteel were the ones who burned it. They were Roose Bolton's soldiers and were led door Ramsay Snow, Bolton's bastard son. They're supposedly doing it for Robb Stark, but have their own best interests at heart. We hear Roose mention Ramsay in series two when he talks about sending his bastard to capture winterfell from the iron born).
