Game Of Thrones: 10 Crazy Things To Expect Next Season

After the incredibly intense finale of season four, Game of Thrones’ fifth season is the most anticipated yet. With major cliffhangers set up for just about every major character, there’s a lot for season five to explain and resolve. Needless to say, showrunners David Benioff and Daniel Weiss have got a lot resting on their shoulders.

Season five represents some of the most radical changes in the series so far. The geography of the characters is set to become even more spread out than ever, with Arya sailing out of Westeros to pastures new. Tyrion has also been forced to leave King’s Landing, with an uncertain future ahead of him.

Most notably, season five will be a big departure from the source material. Certain characters are being combined for the sake of coherency, while others are journeying to places they never visited in the books. It’s no big secret that the show is fast overtaking the books, and George R.R. Martin has confirmed that certain plot points will be introduced in the show before the novels.
