I think I found a rather big plot hole in HP. In Chamber of Secrets, when Harry's down in the chamber fighting the basilisk, Dumbledore's phoenix (Fawkes?) pecks the basilisk's eyes out. Well, to do that, Fawkes most likely had to look the basilisk in the eye, so wouldn't he have dropped dead?

Well phoenix tears healed Harry's wound so maybe he was kind of crying and that kept him safe?
Or maybe he just look around the eyes but never in the eyes?

But phoenixes can't die. they'd just get reborn, link in DH, when he swallowed the killing curse beam.

I've found a good reason why hp is better than twilight! There's no spoof movie (If there was, it would not revolve mainly on hp and i may have not heard of it actually) about HP
