Ginny Weasley played quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies. After deciding to raise a family, she retired and became Senior Quidditch correspondent at the Daily Prophet.

Hermione Granger married to Ron Weasely and had two children, Rose and Hugo. Hermione went back to Hogwarts and sat her NEWTS before working for Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and helping house elves. She then moved to the Department...

There is a populair theory among non-Harry/Ginny-fans that Harry only fell for Ginny as a result of her giving him a love potion. They claim that Harry's feelings developed too suddenly to be natural and that Ginny was obsessed and desperate enough to do this in order to win Harry. They also claim that the prevalence of love potions and potions in general within Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince hints that a love potion was used. The theory is particular populair among film-only fans.

The first problem with this theory is that Harry's behaviour doesn't match that of the only other example...

Dolores Umbridge: the horrible woman who is the most cruel and hated character in the Harry Potter series. Here are 100 reasons as to why I hate Dolores Umbridge.

1) She believes in extremely harsh, severe, and cruel punishments.

2)Too much pink.

3) She's just doesn't make sense. Like, how she tells everyone to raise their hands if they want to speak, but then she ignores them.

4) She's racist. Well, she's technically "half-breed-ist", because she thinks wizards and witches are better than centaurs, werewolves, goblins, elves, etc. I hate that, because without the help of a lot of half breeds,...

I love Draco Malfoy so much! And we all know that he has a knack for good comebacks. So, these are some things u can say of do when he insults you. Let's get this lijst started!

1.If he calls u a Mudblood, say "At least I'm no bleached blonde."
2. If he makes fun of u for being bad at Quidditch, get the Snitch from right under his nose and don't let him forget it.
3. Slap him across the face.
4. Do a Moody and turn him into a ferret.
5. Turn his hair pink.
6. Call him a Daddy's boy.
7. Bewitch snowballs to constantly hit him on the back of his head.
8. Sneak a Puking Pastille into his dinner--...

There are many, many reasons to love Hermione Granger. She is a wonderfully written character and a great role model. However, lately I've been seeing a lot of people say things to the extent of "i love hermione because she's sooooo pretty!!!!! she's the most beautiful girl in hogwarts and i love her!!!!!" It seems harmless, and it probably is. But I have a problem with it.

People tend to obsess over her appearances, when Hermione herself would probably scoff at such things. Hermione was never one to care all that much about physical appearances; she was far meer concerned over meer important...

How often does it happen that we decide to watch a film in the theatre, then zoek it online, and then leave it to finish downloading first so that we could watch it some other time, and then end up, ultimately, forgetting about it altogether? Quite often, I’d say!
There’s nothing wrong in choosing to download the film u are here for, but when u can link, why not simply sit down and enjoy it first, and then worry about whether u want to keep this film with your forever! It’s not only acceptable in the film-fan world, but it’s also the idea in vogue. Furthermore, outing to cinema...

 Bellatrix Lestrange
Bellatrix Lestrange
I have been on the Harry Potter spot for a while now and I constantly find myself getting asked "why do u like Bellatrix?" So I decided to type up this article. Thank u lifeisgoodx3 for inspiring me to do so.

So why would some one like a person who killed Sirius, Dobby, Tonks, and tortured Hermione and the Longbottms? Well I actually have multiple reasons as to why I like her; Bellatrix stands for what she believes in, she's crazy and funny, pretty, unique, strong and confident, she has an interesting story behind her, I can relate to her, she has potential to be a good guy, and I have a...

Harry Potter and the Philosopher/Sorcerer's Stone
For Jessica, who loves stories, for Anne, who loved them too, and for Di, who heard this one first.
Explanation: Jessica is JK Rowling’s twelve-year-old daughter. Anne was Jo’s mother, who, unfortunately, died of Multiple Sclerosis on December 30th, 1990. Dianne, of “Di," is Jo’s younger sister who she read Philosopher/Sorcerer’s Stone before Jo sent it off to be reviewed.

So after reading Cursed Child I was beyond excited for this character and I thought I'd share why. That zei there are probably gonna be spoilers in here.

First and foremost, right off the bat I figured I'd like her because Bellatrix is her mom. To be honest out of all of my favoriete characters I figured that Bella would be the least likely to have a baby but here she is lol. So she gets points just for being Bellatrix's daughter. xP Carry on her legacy well Delphi. :'D

Secondly I love her name. My friend and I, in the last 24 hours have made so many jokes about Bellatrix going 'derp, this is...

5. Hermione Granger

Obviously the most mature of the three of the five main characters. I feel that every trio needs the brains, which I believe Hermione has successfully provided for them. Even though I hated her at the beginning of the series, she grew as the series grew pushing her into my top, boven five.

4. Ron Weasley-

Same with Hermione, even though I did like him since the beginning I felt he grew with the series. I did get a little annoyed at his continuously being envious of Harry and his own brothers, I guess all characters have their flaws. I love Ron!

3. Lord Voldemort-

Or He Who Should Not...

I will miss Richard Griffiths very greatly. He was a fantastic actor and a great loss. He did an awesome job bringing Vernon Dursley to life the way he did.

Sometimes his true warmth peeked through, as in that one neat scene in the film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone where he is talking about Sundays being a ‘fine day’ and asks why that is; Harry Melling’s Dudley shrugs his shoulders. Daniel’s Harry asks him if the reason was because there was no post on Sundays, and Richard momentarily dropped the Vernon persona and beamed warmly at him, replying with “Right u are, Harry”...

Its going to be hard to compare the two greatest boeken and movie series ever made. Although I will try anyway!
MOVIES
1. Grossing- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows made 1.328 Billion Dollars. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King made 1.119 Billion Dollars. Potter wins this round!
2. Scenes- Harry Potter had really great scenes. Such as the battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort in the OotP of the Battle of Hogwarts in the DH. LotR also has great scenes such as the battle of Helms Deep, Pelennor Fields, and when Frodo throws in the ring. I think...

I was reading DH again, and I came across something rather odd. This something is the image of Grindelwald stealing the Elder Wand from Gregorovitch. That scene set my mind whirring. I just had to write down whaat was going on inside my mind. Please keep in mind that this is a major DH spoiler, as well as very convoluted. If u find yourself very confused after reading this, put down this artikel and take a nap. It'll make meer sense when u wake up.
Now, on to the first Wild and Crazy Theory.

Gregorovitch had the Elder Wand, as he was trying to duplicate it for his customers, but it was later...

Scorpius POV
The Sorting had just ended, and I spotted Rose making her way across the Great Hall to the Slytherin table. "Move over, Albus, make room!" she ordered upon arrival. She squeezed in between Albus and myself, as many people stared.Rose being a Gryffindor, many were shocked that she would sit at our table. "So, how are your new students? That one girl we got, Lacey I think, is really smart. But she's kinda mean." Rose ranted. She always had something to say, and I had no idea how she managed to keep quiet in class. I informed her that at least 3 of the kids we had got were going to...

He stood near the door, not with the usual pig-headed arrogance he usually possessed but with a sort of quiet confidence, not quite making eye contact but refusing to look at the ground. door this time the rest of the class was sat down, it was the smallest class, only having fifteen students so naturally it was...

First of all, let me point out that it is door no means an attempt to justify of excuse Dark Lord’s actions, merely an attempt to understand them and his motives. It is also strongly influenced door existentialism and my slightly fatalistic mood.

Following Sartre’s “Man is fully responsible for his nature and his choices” it’s easy to say that the Dark Lord “ made all the wrong choices" i.e. he could have been a Minister for Magic, an ingenious inventor of a celebrity, but chose, and therefor became, the most powerful Dark Wizard of all time. True, it is Tom Marvolo Riddle, and perhaps...

In the beginning

The starting point for each of the house crests was the Hogwarts crest, which first appeared on the titel pages of the Harry Potter books, and represents all four Hogwarts houses. This original artwork and J.K. Rowling’s descriptions of the houses were used to inspire four unique house emblems for Pottermore.

The process

The artists started door talking about the best way to include the natural elements of fire, earth, water and air into each house; what the best positions and expressions for the animals would be; and the most effective way to include the house colours in the...
