Author's Notes: Okay, slumdogs. Here's the bare brass. My dearest of pals, Sydney, had the absolute BRILLIANT idea of writing my post from Lisa's perspective. When she came up with the idea, I died of perfection. Sydney is the Cuddy to my House. In the way I think just like Hugh, I believe she is very much like Lisa E. I respect her interpretation of Lisa's thoughts immensely, and I think that we might continue on this road of juxtaposing perspectives. What do y'all think? Let us know!
She was too fixated on her script to notice him gazing at her as she walked past him, yet she could still feel his eyes on her, the same way she had felt them on her every morning for the past seven years. She wanted to look up at him, acknowledge that she knew he was stealing glances at her, but she couldn't muster the courage to and it bothered her. It bothered her meer than it should.
Lisa Edelstein sighed, setting aside her script and rolling her shoulders back.
"Someone looks tense..." She heard a very familiar voice drawl. She turned around and there stood David Shore, the creator of [H]ouse, her biggest blessing, and greatest burden.
"I'm fine David. Stop worrying so much about me."
"If u say so. How was your break?"
"It was great."
The truth was, she wasn't fine. She hadn't been fine in a few months. Her break had been horrible. She had again ended another relationship. She was beginning to think that she was doomed to live out the rest of her life alone. There was one person she was pining for, but that person was taken.
"Story of my life, always falling for someone I can't have."
"Lisa?" David said, snapping her out of her reverie.
"I'm sorry. I spaced out for a minute."
"Still dag dreaming about how great your break was eh?" He laughed. "Would u mind getting Hugh? I've got a few things to discuss with the two of u in reference to the season opener." Lisa nodded, before heading off to find Hugh.
“Hugh, c’mon! David has some scene notes for us”, She smiled, calling out to him from across the room. She watched him stalk across the room, noting that something was off. He looked different. Well, not physically. She could almost sense that he wasn't his usual self.
“Bout time! Just because you’re the ster of the show, doesn’t mean we’re going to wait on u all day!” David joked when Hugh reached them, flipping through the pages of his script. Once satisfied with the page he landed on, he spoke.
“Alright, u two. Your work with the season six finale was wonderful. I hope u two had a good break, because now that we’re back, we have a lot of work to do. So, Lisa, when we left off with Cuddy and House in the…”
Lisa couldn't focus on anything coming out of David's mouth, he could've been telling her that her father died, and she would have had no idea. She was too intent on scrutinizing Hugh's appearance. She knew he was deep in thought over something, and his aura gave her the sense that it was something that was eating at him.
"Focus on your job.. His personal life is none of your business.."
Of course it was none of her business.
Once again she was pulled out of her reverie door David, although he was not calling out her name this time.
“Hugh? HUGH?”
Hugh's head snapped up, “Yeah? I’m sorry, what?”
Lisa took this as her cue to start focusing on what was being zei to them, since obviously Hugh was not in a right state of mind.
“Get your head out of the clouds, man. Break’s over. Work time”, kust-, oever teased. “Now as I was saying, House, in this episode, is a bit uncharacteristically care free, now that he’s away from the stresses of PPTH and spending the entire dag with Cuddy, locked away in his apartment for the weekend." David droned on for another five minutes.
“So, does that sound good to u both?”, He surmised.
“Yeah, sounds easy enough. Just have to pretend to be head over heels in love with Hugh for the volgende week. Shouldn’t be too hard” she winked, nudging Hugh with her elbow.
"Fuck." She thought to herself as she turned away and headed towards the opposite side of the set.
An intimate scene with Hugh? An intimate scene where she was topless? And Hugh would be caressing her as if she was his lover? It was the last thing she needed in this situation. She knew her feelings for him where wrong and that to him their relationship was nothing meer than platonic. The man was married for christ's sake. She couldn't just simply fall in love with a married man. But she did. And now here she was, about to face the most precarious situation she would ever have to face.

This is a ridiculously short drabble post that I wrote like, five minuten before this because I am hungry and all I had all dag was Pepsi. It could be taken as either Huddy of Huli, of even both, lol.
Enjoy!

She knows they shouldn't.
There were too many consequences; the backlash would be cruel and harsh, and she's not sure if they could live through it.
Too much was at stake; too many people hurt. What was to become of their careers and relationships?
But then he kisses her, and she forgets.
Just for a little while.
"I love you," She feels him whisper it against her lips, and she knows then that she doesn't care anymore.
He is all she needs.
Enjoy!
