On October 12 at midnight KST, the release datum for her new album was revealed through her official social media accounts, along with the first foto teaser.
All wrapped up in purple satin ribbon, IU stares at the camera with one blue and one brown eye, looking cute yet mysterious in her fuzzy white sweater.
Her upcoming mini album is entitled “CHAT-SHIRE” and will be released on October 23 at midnight KST. This will mark IU’s first solo comeback in almost one and a half years, her latest album being “A bloem Bookmark” that was released in May 2014.
Meanwhile, IU has made the headlines this week after she was confirmed to be in a relationship with Jang Ki Ha.

He stated, "I've thought a lot about collaborating on a song with a female singer, but I ended up singing alone. If I got the chance, I want to try singing with G.NA of IU." He reasoned, "I feel like their vocal tones match mine well. I didn't know this, but I've heard I have a sweet voice. IU and G.NA have clear and cool vocal tones that give off a delicate vibe, so I think they'd match me well."
He even revealed that he had already written songs for them! "I want to go for the seconde 'Some,'" he zei with ambition.
