Nobody's Perfect as Jessie J cancels Glasgow show due to throat infection
A throat infection has forced popstar Jessie J to cancel her Glasgow show tonight.
The Bang Bang singer was due to play the city's o2 Academy.
In a statement to fans she said, "I am sad to inform you that I will not be able to do my opening show in Glasgow today. Unfortunately I have woken up with a throat infection.
"The show will be rescheduled to Sunday, February 1 so I look forward to seeing you all then.. Love you! Jess!"
Gigs in Scotland advised all original tickets for the show remain valid.
Fans began queuing at 8.30am outside the venue this morning for the gig and the former judge on The Voice UK even posted on her official Facebook page a status asking, "Glasgow o2 Academy! Are you ready for Jessie J tonight?"
Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the late cancellation.
Angela Stoker said: "Surely they know this earlier than now. People have paid for hotels, flights and trains!"
Amanda Phillips added: "Four hours before the concert and got a text to say its cancelled. Jessie J is ill! Grrr!"
