But was a kiss just a kiss, or more? In the exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode (airing at 9/8c), Chloe wakes to find Maze in her bedroom, popcorn in hand and fresh off watching some steamy action between the sheets. There is a twist, though, as you will see.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Lucifer and Chloe investigate a mysterious masked killer who is poisoning college students — thus kicking off Tim DeKay’s two-episode arc as a baddie — while Charlotte visits Linda for advice on a touchy subject.

Love the Maze/Chloe friendship. My favorite thing about Lucifer is how it values its female characters as much as the male characters, unlike many other shows/networks that seems to consider women as expendable and second-rate players.

BUT come on, Lucifer, be transgressive and break down the biggest Hollywood taboo ! Go for a “they will” and make it work!

There is even a discussion to be had that the female characters might just all be better characterized than the male ones. I mean, think of it, we kind of know more about both Trixie and Ella than half the time about Dan.

I think they did a good job of developping Dan. He has his own connections, some of the *ahem* kind, with the other main characters, and isn’t as Chloe-dependent as in the first season imo. He had interactions where he was the center, about his own character development, whereas insights about Ella were imo mainly about the person she was interacting with, namely Chloe and Lucifer. It’s another great thing about Lucifer, it doesn’t shove the newbies down your throat, they slowly earn their place on the show and in the audiences’s heart.

Amenadiel has been a bit on the backburner for a couple of episodes now, but was very central just before. Ella wasn’t on last week, Dr. Linda was on bit not connected to the main plot etc.Balance, is, for now, Lucifer’s forte.

As for Trixie…half of the episodes I’m complaining about not enough Trixie. I would love if every episode she had screentime for a one-minute scene with any of the supernatural characters because comedy/cuteness gold. Thankfully, I guess, the showrunners are more sensible ;)

Lucifer is one of the best police Drama/Lt.Comedy shows in a long time Love it please don’t cancel it it’s great.

This show is so damn enjoyable. Great acting, great characters, Maze is hilarious, she is somehow childlike while being a scary a– demon. Should I worry that I might end up in the bad place? Though, that didn’t sound like such a terrible place, I want some Fully Charged Phone frozen yogurt.
