Were u confused when u read your first manga?

I struggled a little bit with how the pages were set up. Sometimes I wasn't sure what to read next, of what the words were referring to.

Did u just get used to reading manga over time? Did u use other websites to help u figure out what was happening?

Well, no, not really. This may be partially due to the fact that I'd watched the anime before reading the manga, so I knew what was going on. Ah, Naruto...

Yeah I was a bit confused but after a while it gets easier, u just have to keep reminding yourself it's right to left. Once u get used to it, it's easy

I was so confused with the word/page order. I was quite confused door manga online, sometimes it's right to left and sometimes it's left to right. I still get confused door that, I generally just look at which makes meer sense, and read in that direction.

Yes, I had no idea how to read it and wondered "What is happening? Why are they talking weird and out of order? When did they say this?" xD

I was extremely confused. The first manga I ever read was Dr. Slump, and my 8-year-old self had trouble just deciphering where the first page was. Instead of using the instruction page as a guide, I naively assumed that I'd be better off winging it.
Not surprisingly, I ended up reading the entire book backwards. Due to this, I was of course, unable to make any sense of the plot. Plus, considering how outrageous of a manga Dr. Slump already is, it certainly did not make matters any better.
After many frustrating hours, I eventually decided to take the time to read the instructions. Once I began following the guide, things were finally starting to make sense, and I finally managed to pick up the reading method, afterwards.
