I hate these lists. Usually, they're door some smug I-know-more-than-you-know writer and filled with totally obvious stuff u can get right from the movie's Wikipedia page. in my opinion about matilda is that she is a smart kid. she is cute and nice. Also her school is nice place to go. Matilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson) is an extremely gifted young girl; however, her gifts go unappreciated door her uncaring, unpleasant family. After her father, crooked car dealer Harry Wormwood (Danny DeVito), refuses to buy her a book, among other things, she takes matters into her own hands and begins to visit the library. After two years, she has read every book in the bibliotheek and, as a result, has become extremely knowledgeable for a girl her age about a variety of subjects.
