DSi! I have the old DS (and I'm talking before DS Lite) and my sister got a DSi for Christmas; I was so jealous! u can not only take pictures, but add cartoon pics to them, distort faces, make speech bubbles, and more! It's also an MP3 player,and there's a way to hook it up to recieve internet. There's also a feature called flip note where it's basically like when someone makes a cartoon door drawing pictures in a notebook and flipping the pages to make it move.
DS Lite because DSi has a shorter battery life, u can't play gameboy advanced games on it, and it's a bit of a rip-off. But if u really want the DSi u should wait a bit because they are coming out with a new DSi in early 2010.

even i agree and door the way the r4i doen't work on dsi version 1.4e
DSi u should get, cause DSi has so many meer things! and who cares if u can't play GBA games they suck! Don't get the new DSi XL in 2010 WASTE OF MONEY, get the other DSi
